Moderna Wednesday eve. Was very groggy and a grumplestilkstin at work yesterday but today I’m feeling good
My arm is still sore from getting it weds afternoon but that’s it. It’s always like that even with all the others and flu shots.
My only issue is the same itchy blotch I’ve gotten 2 or 3 times. I threw some cream on it. No itching now
Yesterday I thought I had allergies but no meds were working so decided to take a test to be safe… 3 positive tests later I accepted my fate Today I go get a rapid done at urgent care and self test at home both negative
So far I haven't seen any data on what the antibodies from the updated boosters do against this one. I'm guessing it would be a lot better than the original shot.
I got covid while out of town for work. Now I have to Quarantine in my hotel room until Sunday at the earliest. This sucks.
not even gonna pretend to know what the latest guidelines are but can you not just put a mask on and fly or is that frowned upon
i meant more if you knew you were positive. would think it would be ok to just throw one on and fly but idk. his situation is obviously different with his employer
You’re not supposed to fly with Covid but I don’t think anyone is gonna know or do anything about it unless you cause an incident or something
I did it. Maybe a minor fever the next morning, worked through it. Sore arms for a few days but no big deal.
I just did it Monday at 10a. Little sluggish and crappy that afternoon/evening but just chugged water and went to bed at like 9 and was all good Tuesday. Arm didn’t even really hurt. By far the least I’ve reacted to a Covid shot.
I've had the first 3 shots (with the 3rd coming a year ago) and I had what I assume was Omicron back in July. I assume I should probably get boosted anyway?
I got both at once yesterday. Felt fine. Did a decent bike ride last night. This morning at five woke up with some aches and pains but this morning I'm fine.
Think there's some evidence that keeps being posted itt that waiting around 6 months post positive test is optimal if possible. I got it back in March and just got my booster yesterday, only have a sore arm and a light headache.
I still haven't got it even though I've had my share of exposures at my job. Heard this piece on NPR this morning and wondered if any experts itt had thoughts NPR SUPER DODGER PIECE
I had both Monday and have been fine. I haven’t had a reaction to any of the COVID shots…on my 5th now.
This is me. Wife and I still wear an N95 in any indoor situation, don't eat inside, etc. Don't think we would be this diligent without her cancer journey last year, truth be told. We only know one other person in our circle who hasn't had it, her dad who is as protective as we are. All other friends and family have cycled through infection, some more than once.
Tested positive on the 18th and still having cough/congestion/headaches. Had 5 shots. Fuckin sucks, lads.

I’ve seen anywhere from 3-6 months on how long to wait after having it. I also had it in mid-July, my thought is probably get the new booster around early/mid November which would be about 4 months after having it but hopefully in time for Holidays/Winter etc. I’m thinking I’ll go get my flu shot soon though to cross that off the list.
