a HS baseball coach in NJ died sounds like he went to the hospital, got sent home and then died at home. Have to assume they deemed him not sick enough to receive a bed if they had any available? He was on a Don Bosco team that went 33-0 and sent 7 players to DI back in 2008 https://www.nj.com/highschoolsports...hs-baseball-coach-30-dies-of-coronavirus.html

What if, stay with me, we didn’t pay attention to ppl like this at all? Instead of retweeting it and blasting it out to millions of ppl
There is something to be said about calling out these people. Laying out a counter argument helps even if you bring attention to their argument while doing so. Depending on the content of course.
Cuomo said FEMA bigfooted the states by overbidding them in purchasing vents in China. Trump: Fed doesn't buy vents. Get your own, states. States: Bump prices up by bidding against each other <FEMA enters the room> FEMA: flexes and buys up all the vents States: ....
You know you’re on this forum too much when you look back at one of your own posts from only a few weeks ago and you feel all:
I’ve been incredibly responsible so far only going to the supermarket once a week and not dining out. However, my favorite steakhouse was offering cases of filets for a very reasonable price and a drive thru, easy checkout line so I had to do it. Going to freeze half, give a few to my mom and have a very heavy steak week this week. If anyone has any somewhat out there filet recipes, my direct messages are open.
several hundred people gathered in Oakland over the weekend to watch idiotic drivers do illegal things ...
anytime I see one of these videos I secretly kind of hope a driver losses control and just takes some people out
Right on queue. Good thing the president can just ignore that pesky oversight language for that 500 billion dollar slush fund. It’s going to be such a disaster, I wish we could track every cent of it and show how much ends up in board member portfolios or offshore accounts. https://www.businessinsider.com/airline-workers-hours-pay-cut-coronavirus-2020-3 Leaked memo from Delta reveals plans to cut worker hours and pay, despite protections in the coronavirus stimulus package. United and other airlines are doing the same.
Hiking and riding a bike with my daughter are activities. Anything with involving an actual rolling or flying object that is pushed towards an intended location is a sport. Golf, darts, and bowling, sports. Track, speed skating, gymnastics, swimming and diving, Olympic events. Because javelin, shotput and hammer throw move a flying object into the air but in an open ended way i'll cop out and call them sporting events. And before anyone asks, card games and video games are appropriately named. Hope that clears that up. Edit to add: Playing a sport doesn't make you an athlete and taking part in an event most certainly can make you one.
The semantics game we play with what counts as a sport and what doesn't always seems silly to me but I think that's part of the fun
fuck man I've been hearing from students who had jobs lined up for post-graduation and companies are now backing out of the agreements or implementing hiring freezes reminds me of 2008-2009 when I knew people who were getting fucked left and right
Is Italy reporting everybody testing positive, who happens dies, as a Rona death? Even if Rona wasn't the actual cause of death? That seems to be one of the more popular theories out there. There's so much miss-information out there that it's impossible to know the facts.
There are flat earthers who voted for a reality tv show president. Your mind should be permanently boggled
Like 2002 and 2009, applications to graduate schools will skyrocket. Back to needing a 165 LSAT for certain programs when a 160 would have sufficed last year.
