Not to mention a severe misunderstanding of how doctors are required to treat even violent criminals, but not people who vaccinate apparently
Yeah we have all her info. As does security as they got the bulk of the threats right before she decided to leave after the cops had to come and interviene
This is 100% happening. My wife’s mother said someone she knows who is an RN in the bronx posted she’s quitting to work at Home Depot
Was on the phone with my dad this morning and the topic of the vaccine came up. Both he and my mother are fully vaxxed (as they should be), but my brother has been pretty blasé about the whole thing and as far as I'm aware has little to no intention of getting it. His wife had a pretty bad reaction to the 2nd dose, laid up for a few days barely able to move, which I'm thinking is playing into it, but he has also shown signs that he is starting to get his information from some potentially questionable sources. Now, my dad is pretty conservative (watches Fox News, etc. etc., but didn't care for Trump), but never questioned anything as far as the disease and the experts aside from carrying the belief it was from a lab. When he says he's concerned about my brother's news sources, I know it's bad. Gonna try to have a talk with him, but I'm not really sure what's gonna change his mind short of actually getting seriously sick (and he believe he already had it in November or December of 2019).
Every night these hospital workers, Cole Beasley and Sam Darnold go through today's new studies and the statistics therein. The data just. isnt. there yet.
Girlfriends grandma just tested positive for the 3rd fucking time. She’s vaccinated as well. She’s in the hospital
Also would like to take a minute and point out this is why all the “it’s my choice” vaccine people are selfish assholes.
nope she lives with her daughter in rural ass Minnesota. First one was due to a home care worker for her husband who passed away from covid. I can’t remember what they said about the 2nd time
I think it's reaching the point where I wish he was only Fox damaged. I'm pretty sure I'm working with some Daily Caller, Newsmax, Epoch Times shit with him.
One of our clients at work (I work in occupational medicine) keeps sending over like 2-3 people a day to get COVID testing because they are displaying symptoms. Just get your fucking employees vaccinated already. It's costing them like $135 per test to get these folks tested, then you add in missed time at work because they are being sent home with symptoms.
What sucks is everyone tags him for all of their graphic design related jokes and forget about me, but I don’t think he has the pasión like I do.
UK just opened up vaccines to 18+ so hopefully that number will start trending down soon. Apparently they're having to open up new mass vaccination sites since so many youths are getting the shot
why do we have to say stuff like “I have no problem with…” I have a big fucking problem with it. He could perform a safe and selfless act to protect others (let alone himself) and he’s choosing to be selfish and put others immediately at risk and amplifying an incorrect concept that somehow the vaccine either isn’t safe or isn’t necessary.
I assume this article has already been posted, but reading it made me want to share my family’s similar experience. My Aunt, Uncle, and 30yo cousin (all anti vax) recently contracted covid and, before getting tested arrived at my parents house. My parents are 73yo and both were vaccinated back in late April. They were staying at my parents house while their new home is being renovated. As their conditions worsened, they went in and all tested positive. My Uncle has been in the hospital for 5 days now. Neither one of my vaccinated parents contracted the virus from them, despite being in close contact for three days. I’ve been so furious at my aunt and uncle over this whole situation and also to their other son who is also a vaccine denier. I’m also so grateful that my parents had the sense to get vaccinated early in the process. I truly believe it saved their lives. https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/22/us/florida-manatee-county-coronavirus-outbreak/index.html
Just found out that my Uncle has now been moved to the ICU with viral pneumonia. I’m really worried he’s not going to make it out of this.
People should have a problem with an individual making the selfish decision to not get the vaccine. It puts others lives at risk and getting the vaccine costs them nothing. So yeah I have a big problem with it too.
was just reading this article. not aimed at your fam, although probably still applies, but sounds like these manatee county workers should have got vaxxed. such an easy thing to do to avoid the scenario that happened
who knows in Florida …they only report once a week now so it’s a lot harder to know the positive percentage at local levels
