Bungled the fuck out of it. And when trump still gets re-elected in November, what does that say about us
Parents told me fort smith is opening testing site as well foe people without symptoms to get tested. They went to the Mena one to get tested and said it was incredibly quick and easy.
I'd be curious as to what opening in these countries looks like. Because opening in Germany looks a lot like lock down in America but with schools opening up.
Despite when everything "reopens", I have no idea when I personally will return to public spaces. Probably not til there's a concert or game I want to see. Not tempted at all by bars, restaurants and bowling alleys
the hangar is supposed be opening up in the next few weeks. if i do venture out it’d be there to sit on the rooftop. even then, not sure how I feel about using brewery pint glasses.
Not as long as bars are doing crowlers/growlers to go, restaurants are doing curbside pickup, and film studios are making some of their new productions available on-demand. I like bowling but I haven't been to a bowling alley in at least 3 years. Not about to go somewhere where everyone has fingered the same thing as me.
Also, I feel kinda bad about endangering staff? My sister works retail and she bitches to me every day about customers coming in unmasked etc. I don't want to be up there making someone wait on me while I'm busy merrymaking in a pandemic
thinking about others isn’t going to turn this economy around. get out there and consume tc your country needs you!
Denver is a fucking paradise then. I already had a blast there with legal bud, art museums and walkable MLB stadium
you guys wanna Oregon trail our asses out to the Rockies then? I’ve got 20lbs of rice and assorted elixers
I know many ppl who said they wanted to move here and made it happen in 6 months. Job market was good pre-covid
Unfortunately the bowling lobby has politicians by the balls so they keep getting free press and a priority in getting reopened.
Biggest knock on Denver for me is the weather. Not a big ski/snowboard guy and idk if I'd be down for snow in like April/May. But I've always enjoyed visiting as well and the amenities/surrounding areas are elite.
Buddy I’ve got news for you. The weather is like the best part of being here. The weather is amazing late April through October. And when it is actually cold in the winter, it snows. it was like 78 on super bowl Sunday
Living in Spain for the last 7 years has taught me the government here is inept and besides that corrupt as hell. We have 4 phases of lockdown de escalation and they are so complex people have basically given up including the police who are supposed to enforce the rules. I can drive my car with 2+ people but if one of those people is not immediate family I get a fine for not wearing a mask and other bullshit like that. Full disclosure, I have been locked inside for most of 82 days now so I might come off as pissed.
Read an article about how despite increased testing, Texas’s percentage positive continues to increase. Number of cases continue to increase, and yet here we are pushing forward with phase 3 of reopening
the great paradox and #1 reason why the service industry needs a targeted bailout is that the vast majority of restaurants will not survive as long as people prefer to order to go.
found Clorox wipes at Safeway for the first time in close to three months. Still no isopropyl alcohol anywhere though
"A first-year statistics major could tell you about major flaws in the design of the analysis." HOW DO YOU LET THAT HAPPEN?
We’ll probably end up opening bars and top golf but keep public schools closed because education is now considered a bad thing in this country. Joe Rogan is all we need.
