i think there used to be an actual theory that most diseases come from China because the Himalayas were high enough to bring diseases from space.
At least 40% of our patients lower their masks to talk and it drives me insane I'm just glad we have the glass barriers to stop the stupid.
a 28 year old teacher in my district died Monday. was last around students 8/28, hosiptalized 9/5, passed 9/7
Ugh, and I think you said you were in a district where basically no one is giving a fuck about trying to be careful/wearing masks right? I wonder what was sent out to the parents and if anything is being done.
leadership at the district level has actually faught to keep us home as long as possible. the lax mask habits is more a culture thing I think.
Bradley University is calling for all of its students to quarantine in their homes in and around campus for two full weeks as it seeks to assess and control the spread of COVID-19 on campus, according to The Hill.
Can somebody explain how covid truthers say its just the flu and also the idea kids can't get it? Kids get the flu.
The real fun is just starting — watching them figure out how they can still say it after Bob Woodward’s tapes of trump talking about how bad it really is and how they’re purposely downplaying it.
We had a high rise floor shutdown last week for a Covid positive worker in downtown SF. Everyone who was around him gets a two week quarantine. Two of our guys tested negative today and still can’t come back for another week, but public schools are good with a couple days? WTF?
I haven’t been exposed to people so dumb that think kids can’t get it. But rather people (still dumb) that think kids don’t get symptoms or die.
One of the teachers in that story was a special ed teacher who was concerned about going back with covid raging. She had asthma and was 34.
My primitive brain just screams at the top of it's lungs of wanting everyone involved in this shit to suffer the worst possible outcomes. Not just the politicians, but the voters and their donors as well
The collective outrage over 6 teacher deaths a year ago would have been insanity. Now it'll barely be a blip in the news cycle. "A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic"
UW Madison is going virtual for two weeks and quarantining two of the larger dorms Surely it'll be gone in two weeks
I honestly wished every single person in Sturgis died in severe pain, then felt like I was overreacting. Turns out I was not.
My father in his late 60's is being forced to provide documentation to his job that my Mother has cancer in order not to be forced to go back and work in the office. This is completely fucking disgusting. WHY ARE WE BEING FORCED TO LIVE LIKE THIS?
That's pretty standard right. How hard is it just to provide a doctor note or whatever? Have you ever worked anywhere?
it’s fucked dude. why you carrying water for ppl who needlessly cultivate that sort of culture anyway?
