But it's not magic that it's cold weather and flu season. You don't need to ascribe Sturgis here. Cold weather and cold and flu season along with largely relaxed guidelines for schools, mask wearing, and the public generally do just fine.

Fiancé works in a nursing home as a therapist and just tested positive this morning. She started to feel symptoms Friday afternoon with the chills, sweats, sore throat, cough, and yesterday she had a temp of almost 102. They brought her into work this morning to test her, which I don’t quite understand as to why you would want to bring her back into the nursing home if she is showing obvious symptoms. Anyways, the outbreak started last week at the nursing home and she did everything she possibly could to avoid catching it by taking extra precautions, wearing the proper ppe, taking lunches outside by herself, etc. Multiple patients have died over the weekend she said and all of the staff tested positive this morning as well. It’s an absolute nightmare. Luckily, we don’t live together at the moment so I haven’t seen her since last Monday but I just worry about her her living alone and being a few hours apart from one another. She lives a healthy active lifestyle so I’m not too worried but it is still concerning. Stay safe and wear your masks.

they were not. the mrna protocol only tested if a participant had symptoms. it completely didn't look for asymptomatic.
It gets even better. Wife and I have been staying with MIL and FIL for about a month and the deal was for us to come here is that we would be safe and not go see anyone for the time we're here. We just want to be safe and keep our own family bubble. Well of course MIL and FIL went over to Aunts house last week behind our backs and then yelled at us when we called them out and told us that "We're being too much!! and overdoing it with the covid safety" and have basically been resenting us for the last week like were the ones who are pricks for being mad they went to go see other family. Now we got the news about the aunt having covid and they're freaking out and all scared. They look like the biggest jackasses right now.
Friend’s wife’s family was driving to town for thanksgiving and they stopped for some wonderful Whataburger and the mom couldn’t taste her whatachicken so they’re turning around
