If this is accurate, this is wonderful news. It's still ethically *extremely* shitty that these resources are being prioritized for college athletes to play football, but these developments are positive.
It's some relief knowing that college football literally pays for a shit ton of other college sports (and their scholarships), but yeah. Edit: At least at big programs
People don’t want football because they don’t feel it’s safe. Ok Now testing and contact tracing have addressed those concerns and people predictably want to pivot to “it’s sad these guys are getting these resources while this group isn’t”. Moral of the story: the miserable people here will always look for something to complain about as long as they can blame their perceived enemy over it (mainly conservative white people or as they are casually known now - “white supremacists”). There is nothing sincere about it. If/when Biden wins the election maybe these sad pieces of garbage can get back to their normal lives. Until then, they will hope the virus continues to harm people and the economy so they have content for another day and say “Trump and his Trumpers did it”. Even then we will still have to endure “Biden is doing a great job but he’s cleaning up the mess Trump left him” for years. Can’t wait for all of follow up posts in reply that basically just say “ur dumb” because this post calls you out.
There is a poster or two who fits this description, but the vast majority of people concerned about football coming back are doing it for the right reasons IMO.
One of our regional pizza joints puts “THANK YOU” on their boxes. I feel like they’re sarcastically insulting me every time I order.
Wouldn’t more authentic Hawaiian pizza be pineapple and spam anyway? Also, if I’m doing that style, pineapple and bacon works best, but I’m still not crazy about it.
No, but thanks for the reminder. Having a couple buddies over tonight to watch the Browns game and was going to get some pizzas. Although there’s a local chain up here called Master’s that does a decent Detroit-style, so I’m torn. After Brewtus posted that picture of Detroit pizza he made I’ve had a hankerin’.
Mad bc the cocks haven’t won an ACC game in the last 5 or so tries with recent losses to football powers UVA and UNC. Happy because they don’t have to lose to Clemson again.
I like pineapple and ham pizza. That’s a bad sign for anyone else that likes it as I have the taste buds of a child. Never had bacon and pineapple. It’s sounds delightful
You really need a thin, tangy bbq sauce to replace the red sauce on a ham/pineapple. It's delightful. Source: fat

The Bama one posts some pretty funny fail videos sometimes. Mostly the ones making fun of drunk sorority girls falling off things while trying to dance.
Could be the hottest pizza style in the country right now. Pretty happy that my photo had such an impact on some folks, especially my first go at it.
This other chain up here makes a sauce with roasted red peppers as the base instead of tomatoes and it’s outstanding.
Health officials in Madison and Dane County are urging fans not to gather to watch football games when the University of Wisconsin Badgers begin their season next month. The warning came as the City of Madison health department said Wednesday that 42 players and staff with the Badger football team have tested positive for COVID-19 edit* since June. 13 cases over 3 months, 29 cases over the last two weeks.
