https://theundefeated.com/features/...nd-coaches-worry-about-what-else-theyve-lost/ "Left behind are seniors such as Evans, Royster and Lake Taylor quarterback Jeff Foster. Their families can’t afford to pay for college, so they’ve spent their lives working toward scholarships. They are the type of solid 757 athletes who expected to earn some type of Division I opportunity, but have received only a couple of Division II or Division III offers. And now they are being squeezed from multiple sides: Coaches can’t watch them play, they can’t visit schools, and fewer scholarships are available because the NCAA has given many college athletes an extra year of eligibility. “It’s been frustrating, but I’m using it as an opportunity to work on what I need to work on,” said Foster. Said his teammate and best friend Royster: “Hopefully, we get to play in the spring, God willing. Just play our best, hopefully get a late FBS or FCS offer. God already got everything mapped out for me. This is just like a little break. Ain’t nothing I can’t get over.” But at least they might not get a virus that might hit them with less power than a cold!
Forcing the fans in the stand issue was such an own goal when we couldnt even execute the games themselves without contributing to community spread
under development, expected to have a 100,000 test per day production line by Spring so they want to use 10% of the total available tests on game days so obscenely wealthy people can watch basketball in person (and really so that an even more obscenely wealthy basketball franchise owner can cut his losses on the upcoming season)
Only conference that could manage to not play any games before burning it all down. Came back at literally the worst point of the entire trajectory
More of a joke bc they probably shouldn't have even started the season instead of trying to play 6 games in 6 weeks or whatever it was
Ended ours in more ways than one ha. Honestly, ASU had like zero issues with Covid(certainly never anything approaching an outbreak despite Tempe being on fire in August) and one trip to LA and it's all burning down
They didn't... just self-serving spin. Like, hey here's this thing that makes our decision look rational. It's definitely a positive thing but 'game-changer' was obvious hyperbole.
