    Since all teams are currently practicing, what is a safe amount of time for teams to go without a Covid case before football should be played?

    There needs to be some consensus standard if the season is delayed or deferred for schools to demonstrate protocols are safe or unsafe.

    I also assume community spread will not be controlled in 2020, particularly with K-12 and colleges resuming.

    If the answer is, until community spread is controlled, then there is no foreseeable date in the future.

    So the second question is, can schools demonstrate they have their programs under control despite community spread and what level of success defines that?

    Guy comes off as a massive tool based on his tweets, but he isn’t wrong about that particular paper. It’s a good paper and clearly highlights dangers, but it’s most in very old and all sick enough to be hospitalized. Doesn’t apply to this population and shouldn’t be used as main reason to discontinue season.

    again, coming from someone who doesn’t think there should be CFB this season.
