This is good news, assuming you applied with her name as the business name, as a sole proprietor. They just want documents confirming her info. Utility Bill, Drivers Liscense etc. Call them and ask them what documents in particular they would like to see.
Doubt they'll speak to me. It'll have to be her I'm sure. I'll try and get her to do it on her drive this morning. I did everything just as y'all told me to. I told wife I put her business down as "children's clothing", in business for a year and makes $1,500. I don't know what else to tell her. Hopefully they just want to verify some information over the phone. I want this card but damn this has been an annoying process ha.
I doubt hey will grill you about the business. Just be direct and ask if a Utility Bill/ driver's license/SS Card will work for verification. You might be able to SM them too if your wife already has a relationship with Chase. I know its frustrating, but think of that sweet, sweet bonus. $1200 with the CSR.
Lol thanks. This is all on the wife today so . Wife just talked to them. They couldn't do anything over the phone. They said just to fax over or send the information they asked for documentation. She made it sound pretty simple and not a big deal. Guess we'll see.
Manufacture spending and getting mailers for miles for dogs, cats, fish OK though right? Just checking. I fucked up the other week and I'm trying to learn in here. I didn't know what I was doing with this card clearly.
MS: legal, not against any terms of service, might get a bonus clawed back, might get a talking to from USPS if you're an idiot Fish mailers: legal if you don't open a card under their names, against airlines terms of service but nobody has ever gotten in tribute to my knowledge Lying on a business app: illegal
OK thanks. Sorry for being ignorant on the business card app. There's a shit ton of details to know with this stuff as a whole. Your post yesterday/today on the Chase stuff is something I wish I knew the other week and it's very helpful. This thread has always made it sound simple for getting the Ink Business Preferred card. Unfortunately I haven't had that simple experience. Again, live and learn.
I especially liked when I emailed Citi and asked for more miles on my Biz Plat. One day later I had 5K miles in my account, no questions asked.
Not only was I approved, but it’s a near 20k limit. I already have one card with Citi at 18k and another with 13.
Depends on your numbers. 3 months is pretty conservative for someone who is new and has low amount of applications.
I'm going to crack up when I get my first mailer addressed to my chocolate lab. Citi is so incompetent.
The trick to getting the mailers to show up is to login with the pet’s account, click around on some offers, and wait for it to show up, right?
By clicking on offers, does that just mean searching for a few flights, or clicking on some of the vacation packages/today’s specials?
I never clicked around after signing the other account up and got a ton of offers. But that's not any evidence of any thing
I got my first one last week just by signing up one of the cats a couple of months ago & haven’t logged in to that account since I created it - was just curious if I should every now & then to keep the mailers coming
Makes me a little nervous about applying for ink preferred, since I did the double dip a few months ago before it got shut down. Perhaps I should wait until 5-6 months.
I did the double dip in late July & applied for the CIP in early September & got approved, but I didn’t open any other accounts for quite a while before I did the double dip.
I do but 2 things: 1. doesn't have the $100 2. No saying whether this will be here in a month+ But if you're interested: http://tinyurl.com/ohhsaspire
It's about what they're worth but instead of being limited to Hilton you get money that you can exchange for goods and services
I don't want to burn a 5/24 slot right now, so I was looking at the business card offer. I'll keep this in mind when I do want to apply to the aspire though.
When you go to the bottom it lets you use my referral for all cards in the hilton family AMEX switched all their cards to this
Gotcha. I need to check to see if can hit the MSR on this simultaneously with my CSP, but I'll use your referral if I do apply
