AMEX Claim Update: I was denied because my auto insurance has no deductible for comprehensive and since AMEX is secondary they said get Geico to cover this. I guess my ipad wont get replaced for free.
Already have the CSR but wanting to get another card to fund some international travel this summer. What’s the current best sign up bonus and is there anyone here who has a referral bonus that would help them out?
Chase Ink preferred is still best bonus and yes I do https://www.referyourchasecard.com/m/21/6L5/FTWS/1550271745
Man, I am losing my edge when it comes to this whole churning thing. I bought a $200 SW gift card and $200 worth of points none of which have been credited back. It’s been about 7 days.
I was active about ~5 pages ago with this post on why the Amex Plat should be a no-brainer for all travelers, esp for someone stockpiling for an upcoming trip. rv12 , some of the partners you can transfer to for int'l flights with this offer & a link to a write-up on ways to maximize these 60k points. https://thepointsguy.com/guide/best-uses-60k-amex-points/ Between my CSR & Amex Plat., I can combine both points into Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles. I'm borderline able to pay for 2 one-way flights on Singapore First Class Suite for our honeymoon, but the flight I want to take after our wedding doesn't offer the SQ Suites. N.B. This write up is wrong. You can do a partial double dip on the Saks Credit. The value below says $100, but it should say $150.
That’s wild because from what I’ve read, SW still doesn’t give a shit about the loophole(yet). You definitely didn’t use it already, maybe on booze, Internet, or early bird?
anyone have the delta amex plat think it might be my next card as i fly mostly delta, can easily use the companion pass, etc
I know it's been mentioned here but is there a good write up about the SW companion pass and this loophole?
What do you need to know? There's no reason for Southwest to care about the loophole because AMEX pays them so they actually probably like that they sell an absurd amount of gift cards in January
What’s the current bonus? I am probably going to give this one a hard look for my next card due to companion pass and I assume it gives you lounge access.
Doesn't give you Delta lounge access. The straight amex plat not the Delta branded one does. Current offer is 60k miles. 5k mqm. Other time of year they'll go 70 and 10. Really just need to decide if I'd put 25k on it to get the mqd waiver.
Thanks for the info. As I’m in Detroit and fly Delta 90% of the time domestically, the companion pass is intriguing. However, I want that lounge access too.
With the Delta Reserve, your companion ticket can be first class and you get upgrade priority oh and complimentary SkyClub Shameless referal code: http://refer.amex.us/CHADBUtHD?xl=cphd EACH FRIEND CAN EARN: 70,000 Bonus Miles after they use their new Delta Reserve®Credit Card from American Express to make $4,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of Card Membership. Offer ends 01/30/2019.
I’m thinking about getting my first card. I am a single member LLC. My business doesn’t have much overhead, so I’m a little concerned about hitting the spend (on Ink for example). How strict are banks about business card spending?
Forgot Delta has the branded really high level card. Personally I'd do amex plat and Delta amex plat over the Delta reserve unless you really want the first class companion ticket. I don't buy domestic first so the value there is kind of shaky as it'd lead to me buying it.
Not strict at all on the spending, mine was all over the place when I needed to hit the minimum. It seems like Chase has started a trend of asking for more information about the business (ID number or a statement) as of late but that's a non-issue for you Shameless self-promotion https://www.referyourchasecard.com/21/I3MGJAEYGU
Not at all If that bonus is too difficult to attain we can talk about other options. What are you thinking?
if it doesn’t have to be business spending then hitting the minimum will be no problem. I’ll probably just do that in the near future.
I got an AA citi card mailer. Obv, willing to share via PM for someone hunting these. N.B this may not be the 65k offer, I haven't opened but it says the "Bonus Offer" (stacks with 50k/55k/65k?) earn 10k AA miles + $50 statement credit. card is $0 AF.
Thinking of going to South America next January for 2 months. I have a shitload of chase points right now but is there a better way to do that round trip in business on points?
Someone talk me through this Citi AA thing as I received a mailer for the Citi AA Platinum Select Mastercard and 60k points plus double points on gas (which I would very much enjoy). Is this a good sign-on bonus or should I wait? Is this card a good one or are there better AA cards? I note it waives the annual fee for the first year, is there a free card I can downgrade to after the year? Also, I believe ohhaithur does these constantly, how does that work for Chase's 5/24? I assume if you are doing these constantly then you can't get any Chase cards in the future, right? And as you get all these mailers, you just keep signing up for these offers and Citi AA cards because Citi doesn't pay attention? I am asking because as I see it (which could be completely wrong) this seems like a giant loophole/glitch in the system and matrix.
It doesn't matter what your get, just dm them and they will match to 75,000 I will never get another chase card and yes Citi is dumb
I thought they had taken away the secure messaging on Citi. I have a mailer expiring in march that i plan to use for 65k points - hopefully they bring back the secure messaging by then.
Thanks for those that helped. Went with the United Business 75k offer. Going to do that then just keep doing Chase business cards till they don't let me anymore.
We need to know what cards you have now, when you opened them, & what some of your goals are before we can walk you through this whole thing (at least regarding Chase cards).
Anyone know if there is a hard limit on Chase biz cards? I don't want to blow getting the full companion pass, but that United biz offer is really good.
I have 3. Just didn't want to run up against a hard number if I wanted the United biz and sw biz for the companion pass.
From what people have told me (I am not an expert), you should be fine. The United Biz is my 4th biz card as well and per a few guys on Reddit as long as I keep my CL down I should be able to get 3 to 4 more. Nothing is guarantee though.
What is this backdoor way? Within the past 6-9 months I have: CSR/CSP Double dip (2) Chase Biz (1) Chase Hyatt (1) SPG Lux (1) So I believe I am either 4/24 or at 5/24.
Since you are 4/24 (or potentially 3/24, depending on when you got the hyatt), don't use your last slot on an AA Citi personal card. Get the business version, along with the aaviator biz if you want AA miles. That way you preserve a 5/24 slot, and can still get more chase biz cards.
