AMEX Claim Update:

I was denied because my auto insurance has no deductible for comprehensive and since AMEX is secondary they said get Geico to cover this.

I guess my ipad wont get replaced for free.

 

Already have the CSR but wanting to get another card to fund some international travel this summer. What’s the current best sign up bonus and is there anyone here who has a referral bonus that would help them out?

 

Man, I am losing my edge when it comes to this whole churning thing. I bought a $200 SW gift card and $200 worth of points none of which have been credited back. It’s been about 7 days.

Between my CSR & Amex Plat., I can combine both points into Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles. I'm borderline able to pay for 2 one-way flights on Singapore First Class Suite for our honeymoon, but the flight I want to take after our wedding doesn't offer the SQ Suites.

There's no reason for Southwest to care about the loophole because AMEX pays them so they actually probably like that they sell an absurd amount of gift cards in January

 

What’s the current bonus? I am probably going to give this one a hard look for my next card due to companion pass and I assume it gives you lounge access.

I’m thinking about getting my first card. I am a single member LLC. My business doesn’t have much overhead, so I’m a little concerned about hitting the spend (on Ink for example). How strict are banks about business card spending?

 

Not strict at all on the spending, mine was all over the place when I needed to hit the minimum. It seems like Chase has started a trend of asking for more information about the business (ID number or a statement) as of late but that's a non-issue for you

I got an AA citi card mailer. Obv, willing to share via PM for someone hunting these.

N.B this may not be the 65k offer, I haven't opened but it says the "Bonus Offer" (stacks with 50k/55k/65k?) earn 10k AA miles + $50 statement credit. card is $0 AF.

Thinking of going to South America next January for 2 months. I have a shitload of chase points right now but is there a better way to do that round trip in business on points?

Someone talk me through this Citi AA thing as I received a mailer for the Citi AA Platinum Select Mastercard and 60k points plus double points on gas (which I would very much enjoy).

Is this a good sign-on bonus or should I wait? Is this card a good one or are there better AA cards? I note it waives the annual fee for the first year, is there a free card I can downgrade to after the year?

Also, I believe ohhaithur does these constantly, how does that work for Chase's 5/24? I assume if you are doing these constantly then you can't get any Chase cards in the future, right? And as you get all these mailers, you just keep signing up for these offers and Citi AA cards because Citi doesn't pay attention?

I am asking because as I see it (which could be completely wrong) this seems like a giant loophole/glitch in the system and matrix.

I thought they had taken away the secure messaging on Citi. I have a mailer expiring in march that i plan to use for 65k points - hopefully they bring back the secure messaging by then.

How many do you have? If you keep your credit limit down then some people have gotten upwards of 7+

 

I have 3. Just didn't want to run up against a hard number if I wanted the United biz and sw biz for the companion pass.

 

From what people have told me (I am not an expert), you should be fine. The United Biz is my 4th biz card as well and per a few guys on Reddit as long as I keep my CL down I should be able to get 3 to 4 more. Nothing is guarantee though.

So I believe I am either 4/24 or at 5/24.

 

Chase Business cards don’t count towards your 5/24 status.

Since you are 4/24 (or potentially 3/24, depending on when you got the hyatt), don't use your last slot on an AA Citi personal card. Get the business version, along with the aaviator biz if you want AA miles. That way you preserve a 5/24 slot, and can still get more chase biz cards.
