I'm surprised it took them this long to address that loophole given how much it had been blogged. They had to have been losing a ton of money on that perk.
Yeah what was said above. When you apply for the card you have to fill out some info on yourself personally and on your “business.” I just called my business my name and said I sold shoes on the internet. Said I made like $3,500 a year. After applying you never have to do anything else to prove your business so it’s a really easy way to get points. PM me if you want any other info, would obviously love to refer you.
Anyone know how long it will take between closing date on a card and credit report/score being updated? I just paid off a large BofA balance, with closing date of yesterday. Credit report/score hasn’t been updated as of this morning.
Right. It shows my balance was last updated on 3/6. I have a closing date of 4/6 this month, but it hasn’t been updated yet. Wondering how long this will take.
I honestly don’t even know if they do referrals for it yet. When you do decide to get it, I might have one to give.
Says I have no offers at this time. Isn’t that unusual? I would have guessed that you’d be able to refer someone anytime.
That does seem off to me. I was just looking at the Ink Business Preferred card info and there was a bit about "already have the card? Refer friends here", you could go try there
Closing on a house in 2 months. Going to start reading from page 1 now to get up to speed on all this. Excited to learn about this.
Looks like $4K in 3 months will be no big deal, about to apply for CSR. Arkadin , ohhaithur , you guys were very helpful to me on page 78 of this thread, providing this is still the smart play (downgrade to CFU in a year), is there any way I can help you with a referral or whatnot? Also, how long does card take to arrive?
Earn 50,000 bonus points with Chase Sapphire Reserve. I can be rewarded too if you apply here and are approved for the card. Learn more. https://www.referyourchasecard.com/19/US3YV2EOPS
Also it will take like 3-5 business days... If you want it quicker just call and see if they'll expedite after you get approved.
Approved instantly... That's probably normal but I haven't applied for a credit card in over 15 years.
I still think you should do the double-dip (CSR, CSP and downgrade CSP after a year) if you can spend the $8000 in 3 months, but if you're just doing one the CSR is just fine. I bet you end up keeping it too. If you do that make sure you apply tomorrow since it's a business day
It's pretty normal for normal folk. If you're churning they'll flag stuff sometimes and you get delayed
Chase dropped price protection on all of its cards. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-to-drop-price-protection-return-protection-across-all-cards/
Maybe a stupid question, but can I combine Amex offers? Have one for ticket galaxy and Apple Pay. Want to buy us open tickets and can save another couple of dollars
It’s worth noting that this update does not extend to the Southwest Rapid Rewards Business Credit Card. I thought the SW biz card and the regular card was the method that was always blogged about in here.
Speak to me on the double dip. Looking for a new card(s) and we would easily pend the $8k in 3 months.
So they don't catch it. You can't get the bonus for both the cards within 24 months of each other, technically. it slips through if you do it that way
I can confirm this still works with the 105k points I got from the promo, the 5K additional was for adding an authorized user on the CSP.
