ELDRITCH BLAST. I really want Odin to take the 1 level in every class multiclass build I will literally wave stat requirements to make it work. also since this is a fun small home game, I won’t require any stat requirements for multiclassing so fuck around with anything if you want.
Since it came up for the first time last night, I wanted to make sure that going forward crits aren't going to effect divine smite damage. I know on games that double all dice for crits, it really beefs up divine smite for paladins and sneak attack for rogues (and probably other situations I cant think of now). If a rogue crits on a sneak attack will they just get 6 damage for their weapon and then add regular sneak attack damage?
No you can double all other dice as normal crit. the house rule about first damage dice does max damage then you roll the second dice doesn’t apply to smite, so smite or sneak attack would double dice rolls.
Ok, last night I did 8 + modifier + roll additional d8, + 2d8 for smite. Just to be clear the roll will be 8 + d8 weapon + 4d8 smite (on a level 1 smite) + modifier.
Does a barbarian with berserker even have “downtime”? And, if so, what would they accomplish? we’re gonna find out
My ongoing campaign starts up next week after 4 month hiatus and we added another player. Will be DMing a party of six 7th level players. Pray for me.
The kobold sun soul monk has requested to be killed. The campaign started as a one shot before it mutated into a campaign, and the guy is tired of playing a character as extra as this one is.
Getting tempting, new player just told me i need to give his character a compelling reason to stay with the party or he'll just rob them blind and leave. He's also said he's going to spend all his daily spell slots on disguise self so the rest of the party is never sure what he looks like. Why would you pick this character.
Oh the paladin has a moral compass, it just points in one direction: killing all my home brewed adorable enemies I throw at them.

Hello, DnD nerds. Been watching the first season of Critical Role. Spoiler Right at the point where Orion has left the show. Really liked his character, but his Meta Gaming was awful. Really enjoying this Briarwood plot line. Talisen is great at RP.
I think the show gets better from where you are. For me Orion was just super disruptive. Don’t think we need to spoiler someone leaves the show since it’s not super germane to the plot
