    I’ve wanted my own for like 2 years. We got the version with the door straps and the “athletic” option (7 lb purple and 15 lb red I think?). I use it at my gym before Snatch days and it’s awesome. I’m gonna use it on off days now too. :chatzy:

    Yeah, these have been a godsend for my shoulders at the gym. Use them anytime I'm going overhead at all, couple them with a few banded overhead external rotation stretches... now my overhead squats and snatches cause next to no pain

    It actually took me 12:19, mixed up the time with another workout.

    Today's workout will be

    Strength
    4 pullups + 3 chest to bar unbroken, 5-7 sets

    Wod
    3 rft
    800m run
    15 deadlifts (I'll use 185 or 225 depending how it feels)
    15 hspu (I'll scale to deficit pushups, it'll take me 30 minutes just to do that many hspu)

    Feeling pretty good about this one, deadlifts and running are right in my wheelhouse

    Did an interesting workout yesterday

    10 EMOM
    Even 14 Cal Assault Bike
    Odd 5 OHS Squats (50-60% of your max start working toward a heavy set of 5 for the last round)

    Then after a 2 minute break or so

    3 Rounds for Time
    50 Air Squats
    35 Pushups
    20 Cal Row

    My upper body was fine for the pushups but my thighs were exhausted. I struggled to keep my body in a generally straight line. Felt weird taking breaks for my legs when doing pushups.

    Just joined a new gym, my old one moved locations and I won't commit to driving an extra 1+hr round trip and the new one is only 10 minutes away.

    He's been open for over a year but still has a lot of newbies who are impressed with my abilities, I'm easily one of the more "advanced" members

    185# at "17%“ body fat. (No way this is accurate, but for reference, u started at 21.5% and 205#).

    Ordered new clothes today too. PR of 205 at 15 reps on box squats.



    Time to really push it and get shredded and build some muscle now.

    18.0 is miserable. Especially now that they’re making you do a real burpee.

    I’m on week 3 of some 6 week push-up program with an end goal of 100 unbroken.

    Retested max effort at the end of week 2. I’ve gone from 18 to 30 in that time. I think anything upper body just takes dedication or the strength fades quickly.

    I chose to work on this diligently because Murph has been hell for me Rx the last few times.

    I’ve been messing with that app for awhile. No matter what I do I can’t get better at push-ups. I’m stuck around 50 in two minutes. I want to get to at least 60 by May.

    I’m hoping if I can cut some weight it will help out.

    New gym is making it fun and dividing groups into teams, not sure what the winner gets...

    New gym is also fond of programming WODs I can barely finish at RX

    I’m doing it. My gym does Friday night lights but I usually work out 5 or 6am. Gonna have to adjust or do weekends

    Did RX and got 7 rounds even. Just started crossfit a couple months ago so I'm happy with that. Did all the dumbbells unbroken and kept a consistent 1100+ calorie pace on the rower, but those T2B fucked me up. Grip went very fast and was having to break them up into 2's and even singles pretty early on.

    awesome workout, loved it. key is to keep T2B and DB work unbroken, and get back to the rower as soon as you can. pick a sustainable pace on the rower and hold on (don't blow it out). for me, this was 1200-1050. also, switch your starting hand each time you start a new DB set. if you just did 5 right, 5 left, next time do 5 left, 5 right.

    I'm probably going to go 5-3 on the T2Bs the entire workout. And start with my right hand on the DBs to give the left a little break after the t2bs. Awesome work. My goal is double digit rounds but we'll see

    Got 322 at 10+2 RX. I could've gone a little harder on the rower throughout the workout but i was worried i'd die at like 12 minutes

    You 2 are monsters, good job.

    I only got 8+5 RX. All unbroken T2B but I took breaks between DB work, long breaks. First time I've ever done dumbbell C&J's.... probably could have gone a little harder on the rower too. If my shoulders recover, I will attempt again on Sunday.

    Nice work.

    For your repeat, the place to push is definitely on the T2B/DB. Even if you’re siting on the rower going 500-600 cal pace, you’re still putting calories into the machine. Not so if you take breaks on the other movements.

    This was my mistake and something I'm still trying to get better at with crossfit. To just keep moving. I wasted a lot of time on T2B cause I burnt my forearms out too early.
