our QB, best RB, second best WR, and several defenders all missed snaps to injuries. if you want to cancel out injuries I am pretty sure we still win this game.
Our best player went out, his back-up continued to march us down the field to the goal line. Teams are about roster and depth. Having to rely so much on one person, on both sides of the ball, points out a definite team weakness. Injuries happen. Fun game buffs, good luck the rest of the season.
I mean, Buffs scored more points and held us to less points with him out. He should have sat the whole game and then y’all would have been cooking.
Losing all three of those WRs is a pain, but I definitely feel the worst for Omarion. Got his shot, did his thing, immediately out for (probably) the year. Would feel a lot better with him along side Wester/Sheppard than the rest of the remaining group.
Forgot to add earlier that Boulder remains the greatest, particularly on a fall Saturday with the foliage popping. My K-State and Florida buddies were blown away, and wondered why I ever left (as I do all the time). Atmosphere was awesome, though I did witness a scuffle at Folsom for the first ever.
I somehow missed that Timmons was out too. Impressive injury list. On the whole, that seems like a good set of updates. Between that and the weather, we should be in a decent spot for Arizona. Looking forward to see how the offense will frustrate once again.
Augustave going to carry the load. Let's just hope for positive rushing yards. Every opponent left on our schedule, sans Utah, is in the bottom half in rush defense in the conference.
Augustave has the best combination of size/speed out of the 3. I don't get the Dallan hype. Tough runner but that's about it.
Forgot to add that I was sitting next to Phillip Houston's parents on Saturday. Was tough to bite my tongue when he was getting blow up and drawing flags. It was their first game at Folsom, and mom was shocked at last line of the fight song echoing through the stadium the first time she heard it. Dad was belting it out every time after that.
I can’t tell if the team is getting better/good or the competition is just cheeks. Both lines seemed to have shored up which is making everything else easier.
What a beautiful day it was. Buffaloes dominate, the doctor is crying under his bed, and Jason Scheer keeps collecting L’s
Surprised it’s not higher, but I know nothing about Cincy other than they have an awesome DT with an even better name
