Watched the scrimmage and he remains the most interesting watch on the team (particularly when the games don't matter). Super bouncy, still quite thin, sometimes he looks like a baby giraffe and other times he is finishing off a lob caught above the backboard. Turned the ball over a few times, nailed a few jumpers including a three, and lead the team in scoring (Pitzer was short). His development is going to be fascinating. After one meaningless scrimmage against a trash opponent, I remain onboard the Rancik and Kossaras train. I could see both grabbing significant mins by the end of the year. I still think the team should be strong from 3, despite all the other likely flaws.
Bummed its a bye week but we can rest up and get ready to pass out more Shut Up juice to the haters and losers, of which there are many.
While we are bye this week, I feel like we should all be Bruins Daniel Ocean GO BIIIIIIG BRUUUIIIIIIINS
Rancik looks like he may mean business -- nice stroke and he has good size. Baskin brought a lot of energy to that game. Made himself annoying on defense and attacked the rim, did not try to do too much. He scares me a lot less than Dak does (still the ultimate wildcard, in a good and bad way). Guard play, as we all expected, probably going to get this team killed a few times this year. Rough to go from KJ with Hammond as a backup, to Hammond with RJ/Kossaras/Ruffin attempting to play backup guard.
DL was so violent yesterday, so beautiful to see. Bentley and NHG kept ringing bells. It is so nice to have a defense.
