It was 77* and sunny in Boulder yesterday This is the first time I’ve been back to CU (or any other large college campus) in 15 years The number of 20 year old young ladies walking around in barely anything athleisure wasn't fair Kids these days have no idea how easy they have it
Last Boulder post As a student, I obviously didn’t realize how unfriendly the locals were because we rarely crossed paths But holy shit are these pretentious fucks unfriendly
Not that I disagree, but what occurred? The real question we all want to know though: Spoiler Did you eat at The Horse?
Nothing went down…as a tourist, the locals look down/away instead of being friendly. No acknowledgment on trails, looking past everyone on the street, etc. My wife even mentioned that a lot of the same kind of people (i.e the crunchy gray hairs) don’t seem pleasant. Chautauqua and the Horse this afternoon. My family is going to be horrified.
Boulder diary post #13438 I couldn’t even make it up the flatirons and had to turn around at the base from dizziness 46 years old, sea level living, 6’5”, 260lbs checking in Currently sitting at a picnic table posting and side eyeing bikini clad coeds I did make it up to the Settlers red rocks and around the turn this morning so I’m chalking it up to no energy after that two hour excursion /cope
Final diary entry Talked to Verrips for a while. He said they think the Dark Horse will close in the next 2-3 years. Everything on those back blocks aside from the Broker is going to get razed for more live work play development. The school doesn’t want it, but the primary developer of those strip malls has been at them for a decade. edit: I’m also grossly proud of him explaining to my wife that the years I was there (99-03) were by far the most ridiculous and unhinged of any time that he’s been involved with the Horse. It was mayhem in the worst way. I walked around chest out the rest of the today.
All depends what you're into but here are some reliables: Frasca Black Cat (just outside of town) Bramble and Hare Corrida The Kitchen Jax West End Zoe Ma Ma Steakhouse 316 Oak Mountain Sun Pizzeria Alberico Lucile's Foolish Craig's Moxie Bread Co Santo Hungry Toad Jungle Dark Horse Rincon Argentino Backcountry Village Coffee Shop Southern Sun Black Belly
Cash Cleveland is gone. I assume this is 100% because he's not on scholarship yet This kid hasn't played much
I’ll take this cat as Cash’s back fill https://247sports.com/player/waltclaire-flynn-jr-46102996/high-school-253643/

#1 on my personal portal wish list. In addition to being a position of need, my nephews (wife’s sisters kids) are named Taggart and Harrison. I would swag them out like I do my own kid, and my wife would lose her mind.
I'm not sure what the plan is but we've got plenty of scholarships currently. Whatever the Hood brothers situation was, really fucked things up.
Assistant RB coach said or did something, supposedly Trout mentioned it on 24/7. Prime and Faulk weren't happy, caught off guard etc.
