After five game cancellations over the last two weeks, the 13th-ranked Tennessee basketball team now aims to open its season Tuesday, welcoming Colorado for a 6 p.m. ET tipoff at Thompson-Boling Arena. The game will be streamed on SEC Network+.
2 good games from Noyer, followed by two total stinkers... still waiting on a full-team performance. Broussard, however, is legit.
The first one is free, but hoping it is not a trend. Honestly not too concerned, shit happens and Sam is a spicy one. Would rather Noyer be angry than not, coming from 4 years of Montez.
Do we know which Buff it out tonight? Sounds like Schwartz Keeshawn should be good to go (think Jake noted that) but it sounds like someone else may be missing. bro what should we expect tonight? Buffs have a senior PG who will drag them a ways (assuming he plays) and are generally well coached, plus some decent depth. Honestly I am just glad they were able to pick up a game against some competition before Pac12 starts -- and that there is any basketball.
I’m honestly not sure because we haven’t played any game at all. Being ranked #12 seems a little high but we do recruit very well. Fulkerson is reliable down low and Pons will be the most athletic guy on the floor. Need Josiah James to take a big step. Should be a fair amount of Freshman/transfers seeing the court
This is just Buff bullshit, but I am supremely nervous about this game. Perfect time for them to shit the bed. Like the idea of Big Noon game -- great exposure, but I was really gearing up for a Friday night blackout game.
was so excited when I found out this was on Friday night. Games with none of my kids awake > On the not being selfish front, the exposure will be better.
Akil will be nice to have, the other two were less than ideal last week. Kutsch is unfortunate, given the Lytle injury. Really impressed by the line even with the injuries. Could use our starting Center though (Jynes is a big softie).
They are really milking that damn tease. I have no good feelings about this game, mostly because it will take Noyer to win. Would love another week of Buffs/USC talk though. Need some momentum for the next class, because I am not thrilled with this group (though that probably means they will blow up).
If Pursell can go, then our starting 5 OL should be in a good place. Just need to avoid any additional injuries at G/C. Impressive depth so far, but we keep losing bodies.
Why would you run the ball when your running back averages 180 a game? That would be too logical. zero runs on the first drive. Jests Christ, Chev.
