Pretty sure he left UF with the "closer to family" excuse, but he's definitely a take, and an instant starter. Just not sure if we can swing the finances. I talked to my pool guy today whose little brother is a solid, but not great player at Mizzou, and they gave him $100k. I'm sure they'd pay more to land a big name transfer.

 

Seaton wiped out quite a bit of our reserves so...we gotta get creative.

I'm operating under the assumption that Prime is retiring after this year. If he doesn't, I'll be happily surprised.

The thing to remember with our NIL situation is that we're getting discounts on market rate for these kids because of Prime. If we want sustainability once he leaves, we're going to need to stock the coffers like never before.

I've been trying to tell people that this is gonna be Prime's last job. Be that after next season or in 5 years, I don't see him taking another job.

 

Sounds like the OLB is the prize, the QB the depth piece. Fine with me on that front.

Love all of the defense in this weekend's list, but Brazzell would be a really fun addition. Bigtime size at WR and had a productive year (44 for 711/5TD) last year as a RS freshman. Hunter, Sheppard, and Brazzell would be a dangerous trio (not to mention Horn and the others).

Tons of potential there with him. I'm not fully sure why he didn't get more playing time on a bad defense + injuries.

 

None of the big three on my list from this weekend (Hazzell, Nwankwo, Mcclellan) but the boost to the depth and athleticism is great. Love the upside of the edge, and the CB should push to start.

I mean he will probably be an upgrade over what I saw on the field this year for you guys, but he wasn’t cracking the 2 deep here.

 

These are the big ones, so hopefully they saved the best for last. Even a split is a solid haul, but nabbing both would be quite the upgrade.

 

I’m still going to get my hopes up on McClellan because I’m an idiot.
