My wife went into labor this morning. There is a Culver's across the street from the hospital. I have already eaten there once today.
So I’m sitting at curdside and there is an empty minivan in the closest curdside spot. Big waddly-fat family (I say that as a fat person who does not waddle) just huffed and puffed their butter burger and custard stuff selves from the restaurant to the very closest parking spot. They 100% took a clearly marked pick-up spot to save 12 feet of walking. This triggered me.
I've had it before and it's very solid. It has a garlic mayo that (along with the cheese and grease from the burger) can make it a touch rich so I might suggest adding some lettuce/onion/pickle (but not tomato because they're fucking gross) to help cut some of that.
Just had Buffalo tenders for first time. Post above is not lying when they say their a top tier fast food item
they’re still keeping root beer and Dr Pepper. Coke Diet Coke Coke Zero Mellow Yellow Sprite Fanta Powerade Mountain Berry Minute Maid
very disappointing as it was one of the few places you could still find Wild Cherry Pepsi on the fountain (the champagne of sodas)
This is my attitude on soda in general tbh. I don’t enjoy regular soda that much more than diet, so I see no reason to really ever order it.
Had culver's for the first time in about a year this week.. it was elite. Will be my fast food burger of choice going forward. . Spoiler
Literally finishing my burger right now. Forgot they had Coke now until I finished ordering. What a delightful surprise
It's that time of year when Culver's has walleye as an option for the fried fish...just had it and it was delicious
So totally unrelated to Culver's, but I feel like this may be the most relevant forum to discuss... I am pretty sure that Merkts has fucked with their traditional spread. I just opened up a tub out of the fridge and it is very easily spreadable right away. That definitely wasn't always the case. Pure logistics perspective it is great, but it is definitely different. I think I prefer the perfectly thawed old version, but the new will be better 90% of the time.
