Top-10 episode of all-time tonight. My jaw hurts from laughing so hard... the final 5 minutes of that episode from the Asian baby to the club entrance to the red coats to the “dont Tread on me motherfuckers” to Larry walking him and getting knocked the fuck out with the mail to Leon bringing it full circle with a “thank you for your service” — THIS was the payoff we’ve been waiting for. I am fucking dead
Victor going crazy on the valets killed me. I was expecting him to charge sal and beat the hell out of him when he was firing that Cannon
Was in line yesterday and the cashier said "thank you for your service" to the man in front of me and I about lost it
Yes, I also thought we may get some payoff with her bladder condition during the speech that never occurred.
oh and the minute he started telling em about the "accidental" text I knew he was going to get one sent to him by the end of the show
obviously it doesn't work for the jokes but if i'm LD i'm chartering a private plane before i fly coach.
Anybody watch the documentary Long Shot on Netflix? It's only 40 minutes and it's about a guy on trial for murder. I don't want to spoil anything but the doc is Curb related.
Best episode of the season by a fair margin imo. I was dying from start to finish and it was a longer episode too
Don't know if I just didn't/don't looked the fatwa storyline or if they've just coincidentally hit their stride these past two eps, but they've been my favorite of the season. This being the best yet
Some of the scenes in the 1st couple episodes were funny but also felt forced. Larry and Susie arguing about whether or not Jeff wanted to pick her up at the airport while he sits helplessly in the middle was everything that's great about Curb. I think the first few episodes were good, but the last 2 have been absolute greatness.
I find Elizabeth Banks to be super sexy, so this was one of my favorite scenes of the season: Jeff: Mr. Noodle slept on your bosom....yeah.....(Susie glowers at Jeff) "I'll watch that video, and then you can watch a video of Mr. Noodle chasing a string."
Great episode Tons of the best parts have been mentioned. I loved that Leon probably spent hours trying to find a video of Sophia Loren semi naked online like he said he would.
Wife and I stumbled upon it last week and loved the Curb connection. Unbelievable how that worked out.
Such a great episode Especially liked Funkhouser's somber last goodbye to Larry, capped off him with him backing into all the kitchen cookware.
Also, I might just be a degenerate but I was really hoping to see Larry hook up with Lewis' girlfriend in the fitting room.
With Veterans Day coming up tomorrow... everytime I hear someone say "Thank you for your service" in the office today, I give out a little LD smirk. I'm afraid I will look like an asshole, but it's glorious.
Just got caught up and I'm so pleasantly surprised. After the long layoff and what I can barely remember seeming like so-so last few seasons, I had a tepid enthusiasm for this season. But damn these are peak-level episodes.
Was probably my least favorite episode of the season. The stuff with lin was really painful to sit through, and the Judy bit could have given way more payoff than it did. Weber as the shocker was pretty good, and Leon talking about getting darker when he goes down to Florida was pretty great.
