At a gas station in east Texas off of I-20 on the way to blind dog house. Saw this rack. Thought I wandered into a B&G for a second.
Chilies (idk if they still do) had 50 cent wings and there was one in Westwood a couple blocks from the campus. When my oldest son was fighting leukemia he was at ucla medical center (which is on the edge of campus right by the village) so I went into the village and bought us $20 of wing a me a bottle of bourbon and we watched movies and ate wings. The other bed in his hospital room was empty so I ended up sleeping the night there. Good memory from a trying time. Thank you OP for allowing me to remember that and share.
that’s a lot of 2-for-$25 meal deals (great date night suggestion for the folks out there wanting to impress their significant other!)
