The local Chilis by me almost closed (a dark day in my life) but was reopened and I loved this article about it: https://www.vcstar.com/story/money/...xtends-lease-newbury-park-location/634458001/ "In one of the most miraculous financial turnarounds in recent memory, a Ventura County Chili's Grill & Bar that was slated for closure next month due to "evaluative criteria" has instead extended its lease." That tweet they’re replying to is so brain dead. Show someone from that era a modern stadium or skyscraper and they would lose their mind.
This person is clearly unhinged. I’m not dropping $200+ on a first date to go somewhere fancier than Olive Garden or Red Lobster.
Most of those are kinda ridiculous. Exceptions: *Not going to your house on first date is fine. *Meeting family or going to church could be awkward af * Not wanting to invest a lot of time wouldn't bug me * I think fast foods lame but not a deal breaker. * Refusing a bar if have a drinking problem is acceptable Saying no to coffee, a bar, movie, ice cream, bowling, fast casual dinning, most cheap + quick activities would lead me to ask questions
Every time I see this thread I get genuinely homesick for America but only because I can’t get southwestern eggrolls here.
Oh we’ve got plenty of Chilis and rightfully so. Shows how the NFL caters to the lowest common denominator like Bills, Broncos and Raider fans
Leaving 70% of the food on the table is wasteful and also any true glutton should be able to clear 2/3 of that easily. Plus you got the triple dipper; you eat one of each thing and then you have most of a triple dipper for lunch the next day.
