I'm assuming your experience has nothing to do with private sites like this, you probably got a warning because of a public torrance.
Just got youtube TV. Using a high gain usb adapter to get public wifi while I'm waiting for my gigabit internet to be installed and yet the picture quality is amazing, and no buffering. Shits awesome.
I dont think you need to unless you plan on streaming movies every night. Even then you probably still be fine.
I've been using it fairly regularly for over a year without any problem. As long as you aren't downloading/torrenting and just streaming you're fine.
Cut my Directv and initially got PlayStation Vue. Just cancelled it because I figured I could just use someone's ESPN log in. COMCAST/Xfinity won't allow me to log in with my dad's account for some reason. Says the account does not allow it.
Is there anyway around the Sunday Ticket streaming requirement that you live somewhere where you can't get DTV?
Walk me through it. I'm considering getting it but its hard to find reviews / walkthroughs that aren't corporate sponsor ad type things.
What do you want to know? If you want something on dvr you basically just save to the cloud and you have unlimited space. It's all based off your phone or laptop and you can stream to the TV. I don't even have a internet set up yet (I'm leaching off public WiFi) and I get crystal clear picture and no buffering. I was watching the gold cup in a bar last night and turned on the YouTube tv and it was behind about 8 seconds but that's it.
Which is weird, you would think they would at least support Android TV devices, but I've yet to see it on the Shield.
Was this discussed here yet? This is why Kodi is horrible recently right? (Nothing will stream) https://www.engadget.com/2017/06/07/kodi-addons-phoenix-zemtv-dish-network-lawsuit/
Sure it's horrible if you are using those now defunct addons. Use the Covenant addon and you'll have no problems.
I've been using Specto Fork ever since SALTS and Exodus started to be unreliable / not work. So far, so good..
Can someone point me to the list of the current GOAT Kodi add-ons. Currently the only one I've had installed is Exodus but read somewhere that's no longer being updated? Looking for one for live sports as well. Tried to find sportsdevil but couldn't find a reliable install guide.
For "reasons" I cant do Kodi. I have fire sticks and Amazon through a playstation. Do any of you have any reviews for just putting the ABC and CBS apps on those for live sporting events. Everything online is mixed and Im not sure what is current. Thanks in advance, warmest and kindest regards
Downloaded Covenant last night when Elysium wasn't working. Couldn't get Covenant to work despite following instructions.
Odd. All I did was install it from the repo. I didn't have to do any setup or anything like that from what I recall My favorite feature is being able to link it to my library, so when I open Kodi, I can go to the TB shows section and find all the TV shows I added to my library. No more going to add-ons, opening Covenant, then searching for the show. Also automatically scrapes for new shows and has a section for recently added so I can just watch the new episodes. I'll have to take a pic to demonstrate what I mean.
I downloaded it from the repo and could click on the covenant app after it was installed but the lists of what I could select aka tv shows/movies were all just dots and not readable. Not sure what the issue is.
Odd, should just work. Anyways, here's what I meant about adding shows on Covenant to my library. Sure this is an option with other add ons but I only use it with Covenant And I can't get the pic to post so fuck it.
I got SmoothStreams before the last UFC pay per view and holy fuck it is awesome. Works great on my roku (sideloaded app), online, and via kodi.
It's pretty good. Pisses me off when it's not so smooth though; sometimes it buffers. (for me) As far as content though, it's great. Everything is on there, sports-wise.
Any reviews for PS Vue? Almost shit a brick when I saw the last DirecTV bill, so I think it's time to ditch them.
I liked PS Vue but I ended up cancelling it too. Most of what I watched was ESPN, Netflix, and HBO so I just went with those.
Is Smooth Streams considered to be the best IPTV? My bro-in-law has Nitro and he is a fan of that, as well.
Is anyone else with a firestick having trouble with sportsdevil? I changed from exodus to covenant and I can't get shit out of it. Every link I click on says no stream. I tried to get the last UFC ppv and couldn't find it.
Anyone using a Roku Premiere? It's $25 cheaper and wondering if its decent enough to not buy the Fire TV and save a bit of cash.
Get the Fire Stick if you think you might want Kodi. If you 100% for sure don't care about Kodi, they are all mostly the same as far as app selection.
Roku does have the remote with the headphone jack for wireless listening. Cheapest Roku doesn't do 4K if that matters.
if you have Prime or either an Echo or s Dot, then I would get the FireTV if you dont have any other Amazon products, then Roku is fine
