My MyStreams has been struggling. Had issues getting it to actually run, now it’s starting but having struggled opening the guide.

Yeah, I'm paying 156 at my apartment for cable/internet and 156 for DirecTV at my parents. Going to get rid of them both here shortly.
I’ve had PSVue for a couple of months now and I’m satisfied with it. I watch the Science Channel a ton and with my log in I can use their app to stream a bunch of their shows.
Is mystreams just another Kodi add on? And will my smoothstreams account work for it? I’m trying to decipher what the hell is going on. Smoothstreams won’t play anything.
been digging since I posted that. I went to shadow site and changed my password. Downloaded MyStreams, but I’m getting an error. Any ideas of what to do? I would cancel my current account and create a new one, but it looks like MyStreams is closed for new sign ups.
Did it download successfully or are you getting an error while downloading? Follow their twitter site. Alot of great information/replys, even from the other followers
Comcast bill went up to $172. I called to see if I could get internet only and the only plan the drone would offer is $89.99/month for 100 Mbps. I asked for 60 Mbps and he said the computer would not let me get it. I asked for a supervisor and they said I would get a call by Wednesday. I really wish I had another high speed internet option. Has anyone who is an existing customer figured out how to get the 60 Mbps service from them?
I got errors too. Make sure to update your Kodi to the newest release. I think it’s 17.6 or something.
It downloaded successfully. Tried to login with my old login at first and failed. Then updated password through the shadow site and settings on Kodi, still getting a failure. I’ll try clearing my cache tonight. Thanks.
Speeds vary, sometimes drastically based on tech on the line to your home...seems like a marketing decision if you can't go down in speed. I pay $44/month to spectrum for 100/10 but I live in a city with Google fiber and there is a lot of companies competing here. I think 3 or more offer speeds above 100mbps.
Smoothstreams/mystreams whatever they are calling themselves now is fucked up. Log in on the computer won’t work and the new app on kodi is also fucked up and won’t work /rant
Just did the sling tv for $50 with the extras I wanted, and then Comcast internet and home security for $90 bundle, internet is 50 mbps
Sent a DM to @comcastcares and they hooked me up with 100 Mbps for $59.95 for 12 months and $79.95 for the last 6 months of an 18 month contract. He said to DM them again after 12 months and they will work with me, we shall see. The deal also includes limited basic and HBO. The nice thing is he was able to push it through while keeping my DVR. I signed up for YouTube TV and am very impressed with it. I cut my total bill by about $55 a month.
Pausing my YouTube TV sub for 4 months while I use DirecTV now. Same monthly price and it comes with a free Apple TV 4K (because i prepayed) that should allow me to watch Olympics in 4k. I'll cancel DirecTV at end of 4 months and will have a free premium streaming box. An added bonus: the Apple TV 4k should also convert all my digital titles (approx 150 between Vudu/ultraviolet and iTunes) I own to 4k/HDR where available.
Haven’t tried it since Sunday, but the new Kodi app and online was working for me. Following their Twitter, it does sound like they are running into a few issues.
I'll be interested to hear how well you think the DirectTV now works. I have astonishingly had zero issues with youtube TV. That is watching on my phone, ipad, casting thru the chromecast or an old apple TV, xbox one and new Roku TV
Will do. I had zero issues as well, just the free Apple TV 4k for $0 overall was too much too pass up, esp with 4k Olympics and 4k up conversion with said device. Tbh I'm 50/50 on if the free up conversion will work.

This deal is similar to the free Chromecast 2.0 with youtube TV after you pay for month. You are basically buying the device and also getting the free TV service.
got that too. obv MSRP of $175 or something for the device from DirecTV Now is quite hard to beat. The Chromecast gen 2 is wayyy faster than Chromecast gen 1 on switching channels/tuning in, i'm glad they included that prompt on YTTV to use a gen 2 CC.
Works great, I have the krypton build, between sling tv, amazon prime w/ video, Netflix, and kodi, I get pretty much every movie, show, and sports available...including premier league darts, for some reason I fell in love with it. Must be the atmosphere with all the people partying and drinking in the background, plus I love playing darts
If you want Kodi for movies and TV shows, just get the Terrarium app. Not available in the Fire TV app store. You can Google how to install it, it's pretty easy.

Very easy, just type in "download Kodi" in YouTube like LeVar Burton said. Best thing I did. I like that I can watch movies that are still in theaters so I don't have to mess with the general public, just watch them in the comfort of my home
