Smooth/MyStream Not for the live feed, just the set up. It's ridiculous. I felt like I was DLing pron on Kazaa Lite or Limewire. Not even sure if you will know what the fuck those are but they were slow.
Oh yeah, I’m 34 so those are right in my wheelhouse for downloading stuff in college/just after i graduated
Anyone have any luck just keeping internet with Comcast? I just got Directv Now so I’m wondering if it’s worth the hassle to try and keep my comcast internet or cancel it all and go with another ISP for internet
A year ago when I signed up for Comcast Internet only I got 75 down for $50. When my promotion was up they had a promotion for new customers 100 down for $50 but since I wasn't new the best they had to offer was 100 for $75 or something like that. All just depends on what they got going but I went through their online chat, called in, and DMed the twitter @comcastcares and none offered a good enough deal compared to their competitor in my area.
Ya same here. I can get 500mps for $60 or 100, which is what I have now, for $40. I’d be cutting my bill in half if I took the $40 plus the $35 Directv Now package that I have
They seem over confident on what they're doing is "legal" and it really isn't. I wouldn't trust them to not do something stupid like log every user.
It's just an Android app, so it shouldn't take any longer than any other non-gaming Fire TV or Android app.
Parents cancelled Comcast for TV many years ago in favor of Dish Network and stuck with Comcast for internet. It was either that or get considerably slower DSL.
There are lots of things that can cause buffering, no way I could identify with zero info though. My guess is you probably just picked a shitty source stream if you can stream other stuff without buffering.
Hi, new guy here. Do I really need to read these 48 pages or is there a cliffs somewhere? UVerse contract expires on the 12th and I'm looking at my options now for basic ISP without cable channels. Fiancee watches the shit out of HGTV Food Channel Cooking Channel etc. but I'm fine with Netflix and borrowing someone's ESPN login (or adding some package in the fall to watch football.) 36M / Male / Atlanta PM with pics
Ps Vue will cover you. Not sure about the others. If you want to price shop, check sling and google. No idea what channels they carry. Once you decide on a package you'll need a device to connect. In some cases you'll need to bump up your wifi game. Pic in your PM.
check in on DirectTV Now should have all of your wife’s shows plus you either get a free FireTV or 4K Apple TV with prepaid months
I've got an Amazon FireTV, assuming I'll be able to get most apps like (assumingly free) through that? Biggest question is how can I get programs like Property Brothers and Chopped for the fiancee... or do I need to resign her to Netflix options?
View attachment 53089 I cut the cable a couple months ago and I have what is probably a stupid question. I have two smart TVs, fire TV and chromecast. The primary thing I watch is nba. On all of these devices I run into the same problem. After I stream a game I then want to back out to the main NBA app screen but I can't seem to do it. It ignores "back" and though I can go to the main home screen if I reopen the NBA app it will still be in that same game. Only thing I've been able to do is power off the device and force a hard reboot. This can't be the sop right. I did some Google searching and the lack of anything similar leads me to believe I'm just missing something basic. What is it? Spoiler
Covenant can suck my dick. Every time I want to watch a movie it has to go thru every damn server on the list. Choose a HD one, it plays in SD. Go back to the list to try a different “HD” one and it wants to reload every god damn thing. Going to install terrarium now!
They pull a lot of the same sources. When you're trying to pull all free sources it's going to be pretty hit and miss. Just pay ~$18 for 6 months of real-debrid and problem solved, get access to all the files they are behind the pay walls on the file sharing sites.
Really like Terrarium but am getting terrible buffering and loading issues. I am a 90 mg download. I just downloaded a 3 Gig movie in about 6 minutes. Still can't get a 1080p stream to run. Maybe its because it was Star Wars and there are a ton of people trying to watch that, but its struggling to say the least. I am cancelling my Frontier service tomorrow, really interested in the Youtube TV. Anyone have any feedback before I make the switch?
Mine has been buffering a lot lately, but nowhere near as bad as Covenant. More than willing to put up with it for a free service.
Yes and still down via kodi this am. Did work on my computer. Optimal timing with the start of the tourney today.
I went to check for update and it fixed my problem. Even tho auto-update was selected, still clicked on Update Now.
Really? I tried up update last night and this am and it gets to 5% and basically stops. First real issue ive had in a few months.
I went through that upgrade, took a few days. Then mine seemed to die on Monday. Haven't had any luck since.
