ESPN app on ATV is great. quad box is prime viewin'. psvue had it back in the day, which is still my favorite. I've subscribed to all providers at some point
I now have multi view too. Don't need it since I have 3 TV's, but will help later on tonight when I can also watch hockey and baseball without needing to break out my tablet.
Didn’t get it yesterday, so input in a status check email and got it today. Ready for the 4 screen view later.
Just got back from vacation, canceled fubo, signed up for yttv, and am currently quaddin’. Thanks tmb.
Interesting. My full screen cbs is normal, but the multi view box for it has been squished down all day. I wonder if it’s the affiliate feed. Roku TV
Going to need this multiview to stick around when we start getting them overlapping first round NBA games
Multiview advancement for Apple TV app users. should be a boon for MLS viewers with the new season pass. https://www.tomsguide.com/news/apple-tv-just-tipped-for-a-huge-upgrade-for-sports-fans-in-ios-165
My GF started watching British Mysteries during the pandemic and between Britbox and AcornTV it’s been quite the bill. Thanks for posting!
Switching apps between der klassiker, anwa, and premier league (peacock and yttv for that one!) this morning has me feeling the most boomerish of my life. This shit is so annoying.
Is that a 'good' deal? As a casual NFL fan, it's not for me, but was wondering how it compares to what it's been. And I'm too lazy to look it up.
It was almost $300 for the lowest tier streaming option the past few years. I probably wouldn't purchase it if I didn't follow an out of market team but if only 3 or so Packers games are on it throughout the season I breakeven compared to the wife and I going to a bar to watch. And going to a bar at 10 AM on Sunday morning with a 1-year old isn't really an option anymore.
Even if they did I wonder if it would be priced competitively enough to be enticing. MLB.TV has one and it's like a $25 (or something negligible) difference.
As a YTTV subscriber and a person who also watches a lot of traditional YouTube I like that this is a more accessible option now but I still won't be signing up for it. RedZone is perfect for me and I love it.
Yeah, fantastic value as its included in the $11 (I think) sports add-on package. More details YouTube is adding several features to Sunday Ticket, though they will not be consistent between YouTube TV and Primetime Channels. On YouTube TV, features include being able to view four games at once (including the local contest), unlimited DVR storage, personalized recommendations, the choice to view key plays, NFL fantasy data, real-time stats and “hide spoilers.” Hide spoilers is a settings function that turns off other game scores crossing the screen. Of those features, Primetime Channels will have key plays and the four-game view. Fans can look for Sunday Ticket Primetime Channels signup links in YouTube sections like Movies & TV, the NFL’s channel and watch page and search results. YouTube is also planning to integrate shopping into the football offering and tap into some of its top creators to produce behind-the-scenes content on game days.
NHL has one preESPN and it didn’t make much sense. You were laying 75% (or something. I can’t remember exactly) of the full package for just one team.
HBO is the most revered brand in television...imagine the smooth brain you'd have to have to think dropping it from the name would be a good thing.
They seem so confused. First thought of the phrase "Max" in their space would be Cinemax to me. They're obviously not that. They have 2 entities in HBO and Discovery that are generally associated with quality programming in their categories and they abandon both names? Just seems like they've really over thought the whole thing.
I thought when hbo max was first announced that it was hbo and Cinemax together. For me, it’s always been a really bad branding decision that just keeps getting worse
Looks like this is available already for those running tvOS beta and the aforementioned sports subs inside of Apple TV+ https://techcrunch.com/2023/04/14/apple-tv-rolls-out-multiview-feature-in-beta-to-sports-fans/
