I assumed it would work by cutting the fat from a trad. cable bundle. I guess the margins weren't going to work, or they (mostly Disney) got more bullish on their own DTC product. Last I read, expected that Disney's offering will be available by the very end of 25 I believe, or possibly early 26.
there were too many holes in the sports content. Like every season had an issue for the price point to compute.
I think it was CBS and NBC weren't on board? You're already at incomplete NFL coverage, never mind the other stuff they cover. That isn't workable.
Yeah but they they were never on board or involved with Venu. The group (Disney, Discoery, Fox) formed 11 months ago. The statement suggests most on the project went back to their original employers (sounds like mostly Fox)

Yeah, drop it to $50/mo or so and it works, but there are better products close to $70 that are full-featured.
$2 less than YTTV to get access to MLB and NHL Networks and not get any real regular channels. What soon to be fired executive thinks this is a good idea?
Didn't feel like searching for the chat feature on YTTV so I just tried to cancel and got the 6 month retention offer.
