That makes sense based on my phone calls. Have to have service initiated with Hulu for ad free.
Got it, thank you.
Does the price of the bundle go up if you choose to include Hulu without ads?
Not sure I’m still riding out the last 3 weeks on Disney. I think they told me it was $2 but honestly I’d pay $15, I can’t fucking stand the ads.
YTTV dropping fox regional sports 10/1
Hopefully they’re back in time for next basketball or baseball season
Looks like Sinclair still playing hardball with everyone.
I'd like some money back now that we have fewer channels These fuckers raise rates when they get new channels but when we lose them, nothing happens.
Especially since sports networks are the most expensive ones.
I said it before, but they introduced that sports tier to inevitably add the RSN’s to that bucket.
Should I just go back to cable? I can get it with no contract. Streaming was more attractive when it was cheaper. But I can go back to cable bundled with internet for cheaper than YTTV and internet
When I switched ATT gave me their basic tier + internet for cheaper than internet by itself, so I still saved by doing that and getting YTTV. I only use YTTV though since the basic tier is like 10 channels non-HD.
Im back to using an antenna and a friends login for ESPN or Fox Sports if there’s a game I want to watch that’s not on a network channel.
Cable is about the same at YTTV at this point and doesn’t have the stream delay, so I’d go with that.
Assuming you live in Omaha, and if not disregard, Century Link internet and YTTV are better in regards to performance/cost than anything else I've been able to find in that market. By a significant margin.
The fastest speed Century Link offers to my neighborhood is 60MB so I’m stuck with Cox for now.
Damn. I had that issue up until earlier this year, but then they installed fiber everywhere. We live south of the Med Center between Leavenworth and Center. If you do get access to it, it's super worth it.
Agreed with everyone on the channel and price fluctuations, seemingly almost constant now. Not too pleased with the business side over the last year or two.
However, YTTV has the best hard product imo
Wide app and OS support
Video quality* excepting 4k.
Smart Integrations for those into Google ecosystem (Android TV, Google Assistant/voice control, etc)
Not exactly sure on streaming limits and DVR storage, but I've never had a problem and am a bonafide power user on Saturdays in the fall.
But only for first-time YouTube TV subscribers
Relatively new YTTV user. I was trying to watch Duke-VT through the ESPN app and got a message that I needed to re-authenticate. So I logged out of YTTV as my cable provider in the ESPN app but when I go to log in again and get to entering YTTV credentials I get a YTTV error message that "an unhandled error has occurred." Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this? It's happening across all of my devices when I try to add YTTV as my cable provider on ESPN.
YTTV itself is working fine for me.
Edit: Resolved itself.
Why watch the game on the ESPN app? Why not just watch it directly through YTTV?
I’m confused why you were watching via the ESPN app, but glad it resolved itself
You can quad box ESPN broadcasts with Apple TV through the app.
Also YTTV doesn't carry the SEC Alt as a channel.
That was me, last night. I use a chromecast on another tv for anything else: Fox, etc outside of the Disney umbrella.
YTTV probably shows SEC Alt during a game, right.... then goes away when offline? or was it not listed there in any way?
I had MSST-ARK on via ESPN multiview, so never checked myself.
I never saw it listed.
Anyone else have issues with abc on YouTubeTV? The sound has been off for a few weeks, but only on abc. It’s really really strange and annoying
I haven't noticed anything. Maybe it's just your affiliate? Not sure how that would work
Yeah I emailed them to see what’s up. Googling around there does seem to have been some issues specific to local ABCs, although nothing exactly like what I’m dealing with. Fortunately I have it via antenna, but it then makes it difficult to switch back and forth.
i've had some audio issues with it, but it's not really any specific channel. i just change to another channel, and go back, and it's fine.
Worst thing about cutting the cable -- I used to could switch channels in half a second. Now I'm closing this app and opening this one and it takes longer than the commercial break itself
I agree that it’s slightly annoying to have to go back to the guide or switch between apps
What is the name of the website where you can compare all the streaming cable services?
Hulu dropping fox sports channels as well
Seems like the Fox Regional Sports channels are being dickheads.
MLB gonna get their money regardless but probably not happy either
Not sure if it's for everyone with YTTV or not but looks like I've got Showtime and epix for free through 11/2. YMMV.
Could be for everyone...got an email that billed it as a free weekend preview. Like the old cable days, used to get hyped as fuck as a kid when we'd get that HBO preview weekend and would record as many movies as possible.
Interesting... I work in this industry and will be interesting to see if anyone picks that up or what happens with Fox RSNs.
Both YouTube and YouTube TV are down right now. Don't think that's ever happened before. I'm putting my money on fucking Russian hackers.
Well that explains why I can’t resume the video I was watching
Glad I’m not the only one.
Wow that’s rude
Gotta be some Google employees freaking the fuck out right now.
Yeah someone probably getting fired over this.
YTTV is one thing but the OG YouTube?! Heads gonna roll
Yea, well go make a candy corn video Shawn.
Didn’t Google it. Came here instead. Thanks at user 1
