That sucks. We prefer wireless service for daughter on trips. I guess we can use mobile hotspot but that's a pain. Much easier for it to just always work.
If you have an iPhone and iPad on Apple accounts that are on the same account/family then the iPad can access the iPhones hotspot without you turning it on on the phone. Pretty seamless.
Yea it does the same with Droid but she spends like 2-3 days a week with my mom. I'd just prefer it has cell service.
Coworker has one and loves it. It’s a lightning deal now for $699 and I’m tempted to buy. My only frustration is we do quite a bit of screen sharing for work and I can’t stand when he shares his screen. But for your own work it’s amazing to have that much space. Can’t speak to it from a gaming or other standpoint.
It’s more of an issue for the other person trying to see his screen. His resolution is always so high no one can see it. Plus it seems like it tries to share the entire screen in teams and it’s just massive. He probably just doesn’t know what he’s doing. I see the same thing now with more people in my company using iMacs too.
If you’re sharing your screen that is 10,000 pixels wide 1000 tall and their screen is only 2000 pixels wide 1000 tall then it’s gonna do all kinds of fucked up rescaling to the people trying to view your screen.
A. Fuck the plebs on the other side B. Only a rookie shares their whole screen, always share a specific window.
I wasn't asking for best practices, I was explaining how it could fuck up for others. And I share whole screen cuz i'm a risk taker.
Just ordered one off Amazon after being frustrated trying to find our 8 + year old shark that gets stuck every day and lost atleast once a week
This thing sounds like a damn jet taking off when it docks and sucks the stuff from the vacuum to the base
