Buddy has a comped suite in MGM. I took out $3,000 ($1,000 from each Greek, Bookmaker & 5dimes). Starts off bad. People I'm going with told me they were leaving 8:00 AM and arriving at 10:20 AM. So I booked the same flight and I just got a call their flight is actually 1:35 PM arriving 4:00 PM. So I got 6 hours by myself and the room isn't under my name so I will have to keep my bags with the bell hop. Will probably jump into the $80 MGM Tournament. If I don't make it in time, go to the Wynn for the $120 tournament. Will post updates in this thread about my cash. Please guys tell me what to do while I'm there. Up for plenty of suggestions.
Hit the craps tables. Always a great time. To add to that, you really can't go wrong food wise as there are a shit ton of good restaurants, but I have no clue what you are looking to spend and what you have comped. Strip clubs: Olympic Gardens, Spearmint Rhino are pretty solid places.
Aria is the greatest hotel on the strip. Up $6,000 and a family friend called his casino host and she's getting me comped at the aria for march madness.
Back home. Fucking sleep schedule is going to be so fucked with a 3 hour Time Zone change. Couple Points: - Sports Betting Parlays fucking suck. Did Parlays Thursday, Friday & Today. I think I literally hit all but 1 every single fucking time. Two buddies leave tomorrow so I made a couple parlays for tonight. NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets, Stars/Blue Jackets Under 5.5, Sharks/Red Wings Over 5.5, Atlanta Thrashers, Pittsburgh Penguins & FUCKING WASHINGTON CAPITALS. Bet against my fucking team and Washington blew a 2 goal lead in the last 3 minutes. $100 to $2149.50. Saturday had a great fucking CFB day of 4-0-1 and the only game I pushed was fucking West Virginia -21. 2 Fumbles inside the 5 yard line. Unfuckingbelievable. Won UCF, Nevada, UCONN & Hawaii. Had a reverse teaser where I had Pittsburgh, Nevada, Auburn & Nebraska. Reverse Teasers if you don't know give you crazy fucking spreads. Like Pitt was -7.5 in the Teaser where they were +1 regular. The first 3 hit and of course Nebraska was -1.5 in this Teaser and blew that 17-0 lead. That literally paid $5 to win $400. CBB was 10-6-1 on Saturday & Sunday. NFL was 6-6. MGM properties don't really have many CBB lines. On Friday they only had 3 lines where as Caesars had like 7-8. Table Games: - Craps fucking killed me. Just had no luck playing craps at all. - Roulette. Me and my buddy went on a crazy streak of 14 of 15 spins in a row hit the "2nd 12" where it pays 2-1. - Blackjack & Let it Ride were about even for me. - PAI GOW POKER. Greatest game in the world. Dealer told me I was on one of the biggest streaks she had ever seen last night. I literally won 11 straight hands. Dealer kept getting Pai Gow. Playing $100 hands last night was up $2,000 in 3 hours. Dealer kept telling me the way I was hititng to raise my bets but I didnt. - MGM MECHANICAL HORSE RACING - greatest quarter game ever. Get some drunk friends and sit there all fucking day Poker: - I am a huge Poker player play 2-4 times a week. But for some reason I didnt play that much at all. Played in 6 tournaments and didn't cash one. Was getting sucked out and unlucky in all of them. Only played 35 mins of a cash game and I won like $260. Casinos: - Can't go wrong with MGM Grand. Nice Casino, Nice Sportsbook, Nice tables. All around good casino - Monte Carlo was meh - Aria. Fucking love that place. Casino Host already has me a reservation there for March Madness. March 16-21 going to be there. So if any others are going to be there we should get together and bet all day. Great Sportsbook. Nice Poke Room. Great Casino and a couple buddies that have stayed said great rooms. - Bellagio & Caesars Palace: Just the classic high end casinos. - O'Sheas: Was told I HAD to go there. Well I went there the first night and hadn't slept in 30 hours. I was in Vegas to gamble for my first time. I wanted to win. Well was I fuckign wrong to go O'Shea's. The Fucking band going, drunks all over the place, idiots all over the place. Wanted to shoot myself in the fucking head. - Freemont Street was awesome. Other Tidbits: - If I had a gun, I would shoot every fucking Mexican handing out the Hooker Cards. Mother Fucker I wanted to kill them. Same with the limo drivers asking if I wanted to get a free strip club experience and all that other bullshit. - It was Rodeo week and the American Coutnry Music Awards. The amount of fucking red neck cowboys drove me crazy. But there were a lot of hot chicks that were in their cowboy gear. - Stopped by the WPT Event at the Bellagio. Was a cluster fuck there and couldn't see many pro's. Saw Eric Seidel & Jon Hennigan but that was about it. Then went to check out Bobby's Room in the Bellagio Poker Room. Doyle was back there with Oppenheim & Jennifer Harman. Was sort of star struck for some reason. Jennifer Harman is 10x Hotter in Person. Saw Phil Hellmuth in a big cash game at the Aria. - Last point. This might make me sound weird and shit. But at the MGM, the Lion Habitat was the coolest thing I have ever seen. Shit had me memorzied all day. I would literally sit there and just watch them for like an hour.
Am I to understand from your summary that you didn't even go to the Venetian/Palazzo? Damn man the sportsbook at Palazzo is a must see.
I planned on stopping by there after I did the Poker tournament at the Mirage Sunday morning. But my Aces got cracked by an idiot which knocked me out that I was steaming so bad, I walked straight back from the Mirage to MGM and sat at the sportsbook and watched the rest of the games.
