Fucking lol at daboson thinking the first day without symptoms means they're no longer infectious Definitely okay to put that not-sick-guy on a plane of people traveling to see their families in a state famous for being full of retirees
I know everyone hates Dabo in here, but I'll play the other side. The standards were agreed upon before the season by the ACC medical teams. There have been Friday positives all year. The guy did not travel with symptoms. They allow 80 to travel instead of 72 this year because Friday positives were expected. The guy tested negative all week and could've easily tested negative Friday, but been positive Saturday. I think that's where the frustration sets in. You follow all the agreed upon rules that were set back in August for these exact situations. The rule was never, a Friday positive equals a cancellation. They actually allowed more players to travel due to expectations of Friday positives.
I know the pandemic is new to everyone and this is a little known fact, but one does not need to be symptomatic to spread the virus. Captain dipshit comingled a sick kid with the rest of his team all week. He wasn't testing positive, so fine. But he was infected on the petri dish to tallahassee and who knows many many of your filthy animals have it now. Responsible schools leave kids at home even with negative tests. Clemson isn't one of them and they fucked up an easy win because of it.
Its amazing that we are 11 months into this thing and Clemson and their fans have zero understanding how this virus works.
He had no symptoms Wed-Fri and tested negative. He did not practice mon and Tues. Plenty of teams have had Friday positive tests. This wasn't something new. The ACC tests Mon, Wed, Fri. It's why they allow 80 guys to travel instead of 72. Allows flexibility to send 8 guys home due to a Friday positive test.
now now let’s wait and see guys. He could’ve been talking about something completely different than what we think
(per your own biased timeline) He practiced Wednesday before getting a negative test result after having symptoms. Completely reckless by Dabo.
The bolded part is the problem, with could've being the most important part. Thats a whole lot of conjecture you're throwing out there. If you take football out of it, we have a potential super spreader event that would have then gone to another state and had yet another event, with more people leaving and spreading it. If this exact same situation was at a bar, then hopefully even Clemson fans would understand. So many of them are ignoring logic because some redneck complained.
The obvious question is why are we playing football. All season guys have been sent home due to a Friday positive, just like this guy. Again, it is why the conference allowed 8 extra guys to travel.
They think there have been relatively few outbreaks related to flying. But it’s still hard to say for sure and hard to track. That’s also on public flights where masks are strictly regulated. I’d be pretty surprised if teams were wearing masks during team flights
Come on dude. Some schools have been bad at handling it, and when they do, games get canceled. This is just a case where the school that fucked up acts wild and indignant about a situation they caused. This is Florida getting mad they can't play a game after having players test positive. Don't be this guy
If Dabo came out and said "We wanted to play but we respect their decision and at the end, the safety of the players and staffs are our number one priority," this would be a dead issue. Instead he handles this in without a doubt the dumbest way possible and his supporters follow suit. Reminds me of something but I can't quite put my finger on it.
Clemson fans are gonna have to come with more receipts than “Herp derp just send kids home on Friday.” I’ve not read word one about the contact tracing that was performed in this instance. Legitimate contact tracing would have disqualified any number of other players and potentially coaches. It’s hard for me to believe that “all the agreed upon protocols were followed” is an accurate statement when this kid would have seemingly been the only person impacted.
“People come up to me on campus and they say, ‘Sir, I can’t believe they took that game away from you.’ This big beautiful game can’t even be played. It’s a real shame.”
Follow the money. FSU <---(((Doctors))) <---- George Soros/Hillary Clinton <---- A long dead Hugo Chavez
Unfortunately it took a global pandemic for the general public to see what a fucking phony simpleton this guy is, but I'm glad everyone is on the same page now
