Dallas..is for lovers?

It was supposed to be 80 today. Sent my kid to daycare without a jacket and it was like 40 degrees a couple of hours later. Dallas weather is some wild shit

 

Classic rookie move of not reading the hourly forecast. The hight temp today was at midnight!

 

Today was really odd. At 8am it was 42. At 9 it was down to 32. And it gradually climbed back up to 40 thru the day. Now its about to drop into the low 20's.

 

I kinda hate how now everyone super overreacts to the slightest bit of cold weather tbqh

 

Over here in Parker County they are letting kids out now and already shut down tomorrow. Some roads getting pretty bad out west.

 

You know what I hate? Ice storms during the week that keep my kids home. I've already paid for the sitter, goddammit

 

there has to be a happy medium here

Idk, it seems like the position this has been: if there's ice on the road, avoid driving if you can. I haven't really seen any runs on grocery stores or anything near me.

Ive only had fish n chips at Fish and Fizz up in Richardson north of Dallas. And it was really good.

 

~80 yesterday and snow flurries this morning. Wait, wut?

 

Shit I never saw this. We made a variation of beef tacos we hadn’t tried before. Turned out great.

Where are you seeing that? I don't see higher than 83 over the next two weeks

 

I'm west of Fort Worth. 89, 90 and 91 Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before dropping down to the high 70s later next week.
