Tbqh we werent expected to get all this until yesterday The weather people said it was gonna stay in the northern part of the metroplex
Always been like this. Remember my wife almost killed herself and the dog skating to the bw3s that was literally across the street in oak lawn in 2013 or so
Our day care is closed all day tomorrow and I'm pretty heated about it, 3 days in a row of two adults working and two under 4 in the same house is not sustainable
My son is in a tennis tournament in Grapevine at 8am on Saturday. Zero chance this starts on time if at all, right??
Drove to southwest Fort Worth and back this morning. The residential roads were still a bit dicey in spots but driveable, and 820/I-20 were fine. The biggest problem was jackwagons with 3 days of ice buildup on their vehicles driving down the highway with huge chunks flying everywhere. The only wrecks I saw a few semis (but no cars) that had wrecked overnight which was interesting because you figure those drivers are better trained for the conditions and to know when not to push it, but maybe the pressures of getting paid by the mile got the better of them. Plus it could have been that the smaller vehicles were already towed away and/or caused the semis to lose control themselves.
Roads were sketchy by me where there wasn't direct sunlight. Preston was patchy even in sunlight, but drivable. Getting these kids out of the house :feelsgreatman
This video has it all. Plenty of missing common sense, a goomba walk, and even a relatable stupid shit woman move at the end
Wife just changed all of the batteries in our flashlights to prepare. And then proceeded to give them to the kids to play with. I wonder why they were all dead
The dock at Lake Lewisville just lost its roof. My buddy keeps his boat there and the roof is just gone.
It got crazy, but my boys a.tramp & BayouMafia were keeping up to date on whether or not we needed to get underground as the 80mph gusts took out every transformer around us
Not sure we got gusts of 80 out here west of yall but thats probably the strongest wind ive ever been out in. It was insane.
Beginning of February: Dallaska happened Beginning of March: 80+ mph wind storm happened WHAT WILL APRIL AND MAY BRING US
We got tornado sirens. Love Field, Highland Park, University Park are in the path of a tornado warned storm that is strengthening.
This coincided with actual tornado warning that got issued but yeah, sirens are getting out of hand it appears.
Yea Fort Worth got hammered by this thing. There is rotation in the storms as well. Be safe man. It’s just windy up in the north burbs.
