Yeah, Georgia fans haven't been participating in this thread at all tonight. They're all out enjoying the win and not at all sucked into this thread defending their guy's honor. Good call.
I’m declaring that 3rd down completion to ice the game Jake Fromm’s Heisman Moment and everyone I know is hootin’ and hollerin’ over the prospect
I'm not sure why this is a battle you guys need to fight tonight, but apparently it is meaningful to you. Have fun.
Nobody is beating us by 30 with our defense. As far as losing the SECCG, not really that mad. We needed this win to keep our recruiting momentum going and maintain our status as an elite program. We did both today. Losing top five pass catchers may be too much to overcome this season but we will be in the thick of it every year for the foreseeable future.
He's only a fourth year HC. Kirby is highly-intelligent. He's not Muschamp. He will figure out the parts where he needs to get better. His ceiling is as high as any young coach in the country.
How in the hell am I to blame? People are responsible for their own actions. I attempt to have legitimate conversations on a regular basis.
Anyone who would take Mullen to lead their program over Kirby is so dumb that their opinion does not warrant a proper response.
Danny Kanell quality performance by many, many non-UGA posters (and shookup) in this thread. I also had a pretty embarrassing post in which I said Mullen was probably a better coach on game days, and I’d like to apologize to the board and especially the Gator fans for that.
That was a troll vote, for whatever it’s worth. While I did have an over-inflated opinion of Mullen, I never thought he was anywhere close to Kirby. Probably because I’m not a fucking idiot.
I'd still love to know in what universe the question is a valid one. Are they both coaching peewee teams? The most important job as a college football coach is talent acquisition, and the two couldn't be farther apart.
Really seems to boil down to Kirby having an insane work ethic with regards to recruiting And maybe Mullen having some weird sentimental attachment to shit assistant coaches
I just voted got Kirby bc I’m not a fucking idiot, and I didn’t even have to change my vote Spoiler bc I just missed this thread completely the first time around
a sign of a healthy program is whether coordinators/assistants are getting hired away viajob promotions, so hoping Dan Lanning gets a good job this offseason (also love our line of succession at defensive coordinator) wouldnt be shocked in Todd Monken gets some calls too
So glad I missed this thread the first time around so I can laugh at the Mullen voters and commenters without any guilt.
