I felt the need to start a new thread because I was getting tired of looking at that god awful UF icon in the other one. In here we discuss what type of conferene set-up we are going to have and also find additional players to fill out the league. So far we have. VTTait23= VT zscharps= FSU jheat= OSU bheat= OU gonoles= UT DBL= Bama nosaints= LSU rv= Oregon triple r= Nebraska/another team if lucky is in. bigd= UF That gives us 10 players, 11 if lucky is in. We likely are going to need 1 more player since lucky never got back to DBL about whether he was in this year or not. Hopefully we can find another solid player who is committed to the league. But I will wait on deciding who I want until we find out if Lucky is going to be back or not. Also, we are most likely going to wait for named rosters I would assume. We aren't planning on editing ratings this year are we? That took for fucking ever and was a hassle. Now I could see the teams we are playing with maybe go through the starter roster and come to a consensus if a guy needs to go up a little bit or down a little bit. But not a full out editing of players
Re: DBL TMB Dynasty Discussion Thread. Got a 360 now homeboys. Not coming back to PS3. Won't be able to find a league as good as this one on the other side, but I like the system and online play better overall. Plus, Michigan sucks, you'd be better off not having them in this.

Re: DBL TMB Dynasty Discussion Thread. Also, this is a sim league. If you dont play sim ball then please find another league. What we mean by sim is: You punt on 4th and 1 and greater in your own territory. (rules for going for it on 4th on the other side of the 50 are a little different DBL can clarify on that. Basically try to do what they would do in real life) You dont run the same 5 plays over, and over, and over, and over. No moving CB to LB or DE simply because they are fast. No moving WR to TE. No HB or WR at QB, of course wildcat formations can be used. Basically we try to emulate real life football as much as possible. There are players of varying ability in this league however there are some players in this league who are VERY good, if you cant handle losing every now and then this league probably isnt for you. We are a pretty competitive group who try to keep the dynasty pretty fast paced. (generally advance at least 3 times a week). The OD generally lasts at least as long as the CFB season does, the first year the OD was still going strong at the end of March. For a majority of the guys this will be our 3rd year in an OD together, so if you are a committed NCAA player then you have found the right dynasty. Dont mean to scare people away just dont want people who are going commit to being in the dynasty only to drop after a year or so in the dynasty, and then we have to try to find guys to replace them which can be a real bitch.

Just stating this because. I was just messing arond on the demo ran it 5 times and it worked once. It worked the very first time on a 4th and 8, the next 4 times I ran it they were waiting for it. Kind of like that EA finally made it so the CPU at least isn't ready for it every time. Obviously you don't use it all the time or anything but it happens in real life and I think it makes the game play more realistic and should be understood that it could happen in games. We could take a vote on it or something

Was just saying for instance if you are down 14 time is starting to run low etc. You think the opponent might not except a fake punt on 4th and 10 from your 45 but it could really turn the game and give you a shot to win. Something like that type of situation. Obviously if you are using it once a game that is overboard. In a 14 game season I could see you using it 3-4 times if the situation presents itself.

If someone is way underrated, like Ryan Williams at 92 or whatever, then we'll bump them up and fix it. RW needs to be 95 or 96, imo. Not going through the entire roster like last year, though. That just leads to arguments and delays.

If 1-2 guys are severely underrated, like Prince is, then we'll fix those, but fuck that fixing 30 guys shit. Prince needs to be about a 97. Same with Patrick Peterson if he's not already. Not messing with guys like Crick for 1 point. That just causes a clusterfuck. Only 2 guys I've seen that are way underrated so far is Prince and Ryan Williams.

Lee, Green, Carnes, Martinez, Thenarse, Compton need to go down to what I have. I knocked it down to 10. 6 players losing points, 4 players gaining points.

Re: DBL TMB Dynasty Discussion Thread. Just his tangibles. 6'7 315 Played in all 13 games as a red shirt freshman, started the last 4 games I believe. Started in the first 11 games in 09 then had an ankle injury that sidelined him for the rest of the year. He will be drafted in the first 3 rounds at least, could possibly go after this year but I don't see many players leaving early with Bo here. So his stock will rise even more if he stays for his senior season. But yeah you can ask around or if you can find some college game play with him in it, he is impressive to watch.

(PS3) Theres a couple real bad misses on VTs team RW at 92 with 87 speed Tyrod with 87 overall and 82 speed....should be faster definitely but whatever Danny Coale WR w/ 82 speed. He is one of the fastest people on the team. VTs roster is jacked every year though so its not surprising.
