It'll be interesting to see how Gunn works with other screenwriters and directors that he basically has to give approval to, because by all accounts he's extremely hands on. But from a creative decision, it's a very positive hire as long as WBD stays out of the way.
I think he’ll give Reeves a go but the rest of the franchises will flourish with him at the helm. He’s done great in the MCU and his DC films/series are some of the best
Interesting timing. I was just talking with a co-worker today about how DC is directionless and lacks leadership and long term strategic thinking.
And if it's bad, it won't even do that. I'm not wasting my time if the early reviews suggest it's not good, and it's starting to feel like a lot of movie goers are getting super hero fatigue.
Not necessarily - I can easily see why you might have. Personally I thought it was a missed opportunity to make an exceptional super hero movie, but instead it was pretty messy, badly paced and focused on the wrong things. I still enjoyed it for the most part, but was frustrated way too often.
The latest screening of AM2 had all Batflecks scenes cut out so I’m assuming they are going toward a complete reboot if all that is true.
Been seeing a lot of rumors about a total reboot. That is definitely what needs to happen. The Snyder verse was shit. You can't build something good on top of a rotting foundation. Let Matt Reeves do his own thing and the reboot everything else.
