Even Batflecks suit looks blue and gray.
They know everyone loves Keaton and his Batman. They are doing Flashpoint but a twist.
When the trailer plays that '89 theme...
I get that but honestly don’t even make it a flash move at that point.
Got to have a way to do a reset. Flash does that.
That suit on the left is the Detective Comics Batman Year 2
How do you reset a timeline without Flash as the catalyst.
Pics not loading for me but I have Year 2 so I get what you’re saying. I think it’s that or maybe the older design mixed with his yellow emblem.
Also saw it could be referencing Thomas Wayne’s suit but eh think that’s a stretch.
I’ve read flashpoint and watched the animated movie. My only point is that this is being marketed as a Batman movie from that initial commercial. Could change of course.
Mainly because Ezra Miller is an epic shithead
Would make sense being this is a Flashpoint film.
But how would that work? We are in Keatons universe where his parents died.
I just meant a as a nod. I don't see Thomas showing up.
Ah I see
Oh look we get Supergirl again
Its Kara not Clark
Right. Guess I misunderstood you.
Were all those red caped cameos her? I couldn’t tell because I was watching on my phone
Just watched it again- that movie looks great and the trailer actually makes me want to go see it opening weekend
That Batman theme ohh boy the nostalgia, I can remember waiting in line for an hour while the theme played waiting to get on the Batman rollercoaster with my dad, peak 90's for me.
That shot of Supergirl flying up on the Batwing is awesome
interesting that the Supergirl actress has only ever been on the Young and the Restless outside of shorts
edit - there was a miniseries in 2017.
Keaton is going to kill it
He's never stopped being great. He just had a ten-year stretch where he either wasn't cast in anything, or was very selective about his parts. So glad he's been in more big movies as of late.
Think Birdman changed things for him. He was also great in that McDonald’s flick.
yeah, Birdman, The Founder, Spotlight, and Spider-Man all put him back on the map, with a nod to being Ken in Toy Story 3.
Still one of the top Marvel villains
After all the delays I wasn’t too interested in it, but that trailer was awesome.
He’s literally the only reason I’ll watch this movie. I hate Miller as flash, and think he sucks
DC has fucked a lot of shit up, making Keaton the focus of this movie (assuming based on the trailer) they are right on with this project.
Not giving them credit, this was a no brainer.
Don't get your hopes up. Miller will be the focus of the movie. But Keaton will be a nice supporting role.
I'm assuming the twist will be (if they're that staying consistent with Flashpoint) he's
. This seems like it is more of a timeline thing and not a multiverse.
I could definitely see that twist but it would be dumb so I now expect them to do that
Why is that dumb? It's probably one of the better parts of the Flashpoint story imo
I don’t think it will be Thomas Wayne but I think it would be cool if they did the ending of Flashpoint with the letter.
Micheal Keaton being casted to play Thomas Wayne would absolutely be dumb. Wearing the same bat suit, driving the same car etc as original Batman he played would be silly as fuck.
If that’s what ur doing just cast another actor
Keaton is Bruce. They're not translating Flashpoint; they're adapting it.
Same with MCU Thanos not courting Death. The snap still happens, but the circumstances are totally different.
Are you sure? Seems weird to have a different timeline where everyone is the same age as the original, but Bruce is somehow 20+ years older.
It wouldn't take me out of the movie and I'd probably just shrug my shoulders at whatever simple explanation they gave for that, but having him be Thomas Wayne in a timeline where Bruce is the one that died sure makes a lot of sense and is obviously in line with the story they're adapting this from.
I'm not going to spoil anything but yes, it's 100% Bruce Wayne. It's the same Batman from 89 and Returns, only 20 years later.
I would point out that the Batman from Flash's present (Affleck) is also an old man who had been Batman for a long time, had lost a Robin, etc.
Different earths. Different ages of Batman.
