No? I was just thinking about it after watching Guardians vol 3 last night. Hammil and Gunn are neighbors and friends and he's been rumored to be almost casted in Gunn projects over the years. I suppose it'd be hard to imagine him as an old farm dad, but as JorEl? I can see it.
We've seen Karen Gillan bald before. It's definitely her. But for real my money would be on Bradley Cooper.
The only Barry Allen I recognize hangs it up just in time to take over for the sex pest in the movies
My fever dream is Barry resets the timeline in the movie and they take off the mask and it’s literally anybody else.
MCU is rewriting and recasting their new big bad due to his behavior off the screen and DC can’t be bothered to do the same with the character who has one of if not the biggest moments in their comic book universe They had their chance to boot him and did not take it
We have no idea if either of these things are true. Marvel hasn't made a statement yet and I highly doubt Gunn actually brings back Miller but who knows.
Did Gunn say Shazam is out of the DCU in its current form? Figured with that scene it might be worked in as cannon.
Nothing specifically but you can just tell the way they stopped promoting it. Gunns comments about the other already shot movies was all excitement and then for Shazam it was just “ya it’s coming out this date” basically. Who knows though. I’d like another.
If there is another Shazam it's years away and by then the kids will be grown. That's a tough character to put on film without constantly changing actors.
This is true. Apparently they had to film that last minute since they changed it. It was originally supposed to be JSA characters. I believe Hawkman and Atom Smasher? But somehow the Rock had final say and squashed it.
Waller is working with the JSA. In Black Adam they showed this. They all might show up in the Waller HBO Max show.
He was hardly the best part of the movie. Other than the horribly stupid villain, I'd argue he was the weakest part. The JSA itself was great.
I believe the JSA stuff might go forward but ya it’s all a long shot. Shame since the JSA was the best part of Black Adam.
I thought that JSA was weak aside from Dr. Fate. Being the best part of Black Adam is the low lest of bars so I technically agree with you.
Dr. Fate was for sure the best. There was talk of bringing him back and I know they filmed an end credit scene of someone picking up the helmet. Hawkman wasn’t bad. The other two just seemed to not have much time/scenes.
Fate and Hawkman were well done. I would have preferred two older JSA members to the new two, or a cool ass Mr. Terrific, but nothing was saving that movie.
I think Fate was only cool because of Pierce Brosnan. Aldis Hodge was hampered by the script so Hawkman came across as just boring.
Got an early screener ticket for the Flash on Monday. It won’t be the complete version but I’m excited. I’ll watch the full version after it comes out.
