From what I read, sounds like Harley Quinn will evolve throughout the movie from the original jester look to the more current slutty look.
Again going back to the "comic world" of TDKR, this is the Frank Miller/Jim Lee version of The Joker.
Perhaps I was just unaware of this, but rumor has it that the Joker/Batman storyline in Suicide Squad will set up the standalone Batman movie which will supposedly follow the Batman vs Joker storyline from The Dark Knight Returns
Doesn't look terrible to me. I mean, how much Joker have some of you seen? He is consistently portrayed a razor thin, and those complaining about not enough makeup around the lips now think it is too much? I'm not a fan of the forehead tattoo, but I am a fan of Leto. I'm going to withhold judgement until I see at least one scene of his version of the character.
My issue is it looks like he just painted on a smiley face, and other than Caesar Romero, I can't think of a single take on the Joker in 50 years that didn't feature the Joker with an unnaturally large mouth, either by scaring (like with Nolan and Ledger's take) or by some kind of chemical reaction (like the classic take). So if he's just a crazy guy with a painted on face, that's...a bit disappointing
Can't wait to see what Joker does when his shift is over at Hot Topic. In their defense, it definitely behooves them to make him as different from Ledger's Joker as possible within reason, but seeing a Juggalo homage isn't exactly going to inspire confidence. At least Leto has some acting chops unlike some others who will go unnamed in this universe.
I came across Air America today on TV. Easily some of the best acting I have seen from one of the great actors of our generation.
think we won't know the Joker we get until a trailer or the movie. They are just having fun with these leaked photos We are getting the TDKR Joker in my opinion.
How does the fact that RDJ occasionally makes dumb movies (including shit like Avengers and Iron Man, which are just fun popcorn movies) negate the fact that he is one of the most talented actors of his generation? Marlon Brando made shitty movies, too. So have Al Pacino and Robert Deniro. Just to clarify....You don't think RDJ is one of the best actors of his generation, but you think Ben Affleck is perfectly fine as an actor?
fsuNizz You're in the industry...Is there any question that RDJ is one of the most talented actors of his generation? So far I've thrown out quotes from Biography, NY Times, Rolling Stone, Washington Post, Moviefone, Billy Bob Thornton, Robert Altman...but random internet guy is acting like this is an unheard of opinion.
RDJ is a good actor, but the actor of his generation is easily defined. It's Nicolas Kim Coppola, professionally known as Nicolas Cage.
it looks like heath ledger's joker butt fucked little wayne and then this was aborted out of waynes asshole 3 months later.
jesus fucking christ. we get it. you'd blow RDJ at midfield during the superbowl. just shut the fuck up already.
DC just can't get their shit together for their movie universe http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/superman-batman-dcs-real-battle-792190
Give the damn thing to Geoff Johns and let him play the Kevin Feige role. WB needs a DC guy to be in control of this. It's not that difficult.
It sucks that every Joker laugh will be compared to Mark Hamill's and every Joker actor will be compared to Ledger. They'll just never measure up
Hoping there is a bit of under promise over deliver going on. Outside of the short video we saw earlier I have not liked much of what I have seen here
Will Smith as Deadshot. I really want to be hopeful about this film. I do. But it's doing everything it can to dissuade me.
