I will die to see him realized in live action. It's crazy how many times it ALMOST happened over the years.

 

Pretty heavily featured in Smallville, but was definitely a different take on Brainiac

I checked out of Smallville probably around season 4, so I missed all of their Brainiac and Darkseid stuff.

On my rewatch we are dealing with Brainiac currently

 

If you haven’t read Absolute Batman, it’s fucking nuts. Can’t tell if I like it or not but it is weird and different.

Paramount seems to be the real interest

 

Campea mentioned it on his pod. Said most likely they’ll split the studio/hbo in one sale and the TV stations/non hbo streaming into a second sale. I think he was just guessing without any insider hints but he said Apple/Amazon for the studio/hbo with Netflix/disney/paramount being other options. Then said paramount/comcast will probably buy the TV half of the company.

 

Dc has to be one of the main assets you’re buying, right?

Gunn has also gotten as far as he has, because he’s famously budget conscious and punctual. Can’t think of a reason they’d bail on him unless it’s political

 

Gunn must have done a 100 interviews the past couple days. I opened YouTube and there were like 20 straight suggested videos of interviews and I haven’t heard of 3/4th of these accounts.
