David Milch asked for 8 episodes for the forth season and HBO only gave them 6. But if there was any show that was less about the destination and more about the characters it is Deadwood.
One of my favorites ever. Do a rewatch every couple of years. Wish we had more, but what we for was great.
ahhhh yeahhhh http://www.avclub.com/article/hbo-s...ocialMarketing&utm_campaign=Default:1:Default HBO says Deadwood movie is in early talks
If you were hoping, yes, Garret Dillahunt appears in a cameo in the movie as his 3rd Deadwood character
No question. It was so great to get those characters back in our lives that the storyline hardly even mattered. And then we got closure on a few characters and a bunch of open-ended questions on the rest.
Haven't watched yet but I'd always hoped they would've done a miniseries ala Chernobyl style. Either way I'm stoked Deadwood is back after all these years. Also RIP my man Richardson
Very well done but impossible not to want more and feel a little sad at some of the characters' fates.
I like Dan and he seemed to be an afterthought along with Al being what he was. They also didnt say cocksucker enough.
Yeah, I like Dan's character, too. The episode with Dan vs. The Captain fight was one of the most intense TV episodes I've ever watched. So damned good.
I would say it would make a huge difference if you did. I would watch the show though man it is so fucking good. So incredibly good
Movie release got me to start this show last week. It's so good - Trying really hard to space it out and enjoy it instead of binge through it.
I’m 10 min in. They kind of fucked up Bullock and Trixie On the show , everyone else spoke in flowery Shakespeareian verses - they were short and direct. Now they’re taking in long soliloquies too and it’s a bummer
Never watched I'm enjoying it. Really like E.B. Cocksucker this cocksucker that and fuck Doesn't seem like Will Shakespeare to me
Not reading this thread at all yet, just wanted to say I'm about 6 episodes deep so far and the doc is my guy Thanks and God Bless
just finished watching whole thing plus movie great show, movie was a great sendoff. Can't imagine waiting 15 years
Every scene with Skyler White kinda sucks. Everything else is great, including when they’re sticking a rod into Al Swearengen’s penis.
