Jackson State Tigers football coach Deion Sanders says he had two toes amputated after medical setback "They were talking about the amputation of toes," Sanders said. "Then they were talking about the amputation of my leg from the knee down. Then, they were trying to ensure I had life." Sanders, 54, underwent several surgeries. He developed a femoral arterial blood clot. Spoiler: Not safe for reading while/after eating He also had compartment syndrome, which meant his leg swelled, and doctors had to flay open his leg to drain fluid. Sanders later had his left foot's big toe and second toe amputated. https://www.espn.com/college-footba...s-says-had-two-toes-amputated-medical-setback
Next coach will be a player's coach after this disciplinarian with a zero tolerance booty paper policy.
I don’t blame those coaches if they view Deion doing this as only a stepping stone but he does seem to be legit working his ass off like every other college coach.
At the very least 95% of coaches are doing it as a stepping stone. How many jobs are truly destination jobs? Kentucky in Basketball. Alabama in football. What else?
Of course if those coaches got a life changing offer they’d take it but I assume the vast majority are really there because of the HBCU history. Obviously every big program would give them $ in some bs job title if they thought it’d help with a recruit.
Yeah Coach Prime with his savior of HBC football shit has gotten out of hand. He’s outgrown it and should move on. But maybe he should try to hold off on the diva behavior till he does.
Coaches getting upset with teams running up the score on them always made me laugh. If you don’t want them to score maybe try stopping them. And this is coming from watching Spurrier run shit up on my team for years.
I think literally everyone who clicks on the story is in the same boat. It's a rough trajectory and I hope everyone who posts here respects it especially when those coaches would be shuttered into a 100% recruiting job at a big school.
What did Deon say in the week leading up to the game that made Robinson so mad? The article mentions it but doesn't say what he said.
ESPN article https://www.espn.com/college-footba...jr-snubs-deion-sanders-attempted-postgame-hug Robinson, who isn't related to Grambling coach and Hall of Famer Eddie Robinson, then added of Sanders: "He ain't SWAC. I'm SWAC, he ain't SWAC. He's in the conference, doing a great job, can't knock that, got a great team, his son should be up for the Heisman Trophy, I love Shedeur, great player, I love what he's doing for the conference. ... But you're not going to come here and disrespect me and my team and my school and then want a bro hug. Shake my hand and get the hell off."
Maybe this? Last week, Sanders said Alabama State inviting Jackson State as its homecoming opponent was a "money game," because of the large crowds and attention that follow him and his program.
They beat deion last year And then put his draft day pic up on the scoreboard He got pissed and said some shit good ball beef
They won the MEAC 2019 and have won 4 straight since the loss to Jackson St. They also made the playoffs last year and came in second in the SWAC. What are you talking about? Is this in reference to the ineligible players? I think that was more of a systematic failure of the school than anything else. They're currently second in the division in the SWAC behind Jackson St who kind of has a pretty solid talent advantage on everyone else atm If they fire him it won't have anything to do with on the field play Former FAMU student here btw.
