Maria Empanada is like 6 blocks north of you and is delicious and seems 4 Argentine beer. There's Also a halfway decent fish n chips place across the street from Maria and Voodoo Donut like a half mile north.
My favorite road to take my motorcycle on in Denver was Broadway so a few times a month I'd take it down to LiDo, ride down Broadway, and get my wife and I empanadas.
I've heard Wake and Bake is pretty good. I miss getting ripped and sitting in the boat at the Dive Inn. Also miss drinking in the top floor of Skylark. Chook is good. Brutal Poodle, for bar food, is pretty good.
definitely the best place to string 5 to 7 good bars together for a bar crawl (excluding all the good breweries down there. Kentucky Inn, CandleLight, Badgers, Skylark, Dive Inn, Hi-Dive, Irish Rover, etc.
takingnotes.gif reminds me of going to Steubens and getting their late night special. Burger, fries, and a high life for 7 bucks.
That's going on my list of first night places once me and the boys get vaccinated. First on the list has to be Herb's though.
It's closed for COVID but Beatrice & Woodsley was great for semi-fancy dinners for groups. We had our post-wedding dinner there for our small wedding party and they were extremely nice and accommodating. They have a private dining space in the basement
This sucks for those of us waiting for mountain bike trails to open soon.. So much mud about to be created. Vail added another week, so that's good.
Any recs for good Italian restaurants in Denver? I’ve been to a Coperta but they are on a winter hiatus. Mother in law coming into town next week so we have a babysitter. I need to get out
I bought a 500 dollar Rockies passport. Got tickets for the 2nd game of the season vs the Dodgers. Pretty excited about being able to sit outside and enjoy 10 or so home games this year. Gives me an excuse to go out and do something while we get everyone vaccinated through May.
the dodgers play at Coors 9 times a year. So yes, unfortunately. Can't imagine anyone will actually be invested in the Rockies for the next few years. The cupboard is bare and ownership is awful. Still fun to catch a game and watch the sunset while the opposing team hits 7 homers
100% agreed. If you’re not emotionally invested and can see a game with covid protocol in place. Why not?
Yep. Nice place to watch a game, especially in covid times. Bring in your own food, big stadium, long games, nice weather, beer or edibles. All is good.
If any of you aren't using FanDuel yet they're doing a promo for the Michigan State UCLA game tomorrow. The more people that bet the more the spread grows, it's currently at Michigan State +94.5 Max bet of $50 It's free money
Been wondering why our cases haven't really been able to get low as more people are getting vaccinated. Picked up breakfast this morning at delectable egg in lodo and I haven't seen a restaurant that full inside since the summer.
Was able to set up a Group 2 appointment at Ball Arena Friday: https://www.primarybio.com/r/truecare24-cdphe
Walked out of Coors Field tonight and LoDo was popping. Like 100 people in line for multiple bars. Yikes
Not too far from you either, ANTWONE. But we’re moving back east at the same time you’re getting here
Where should 3 guys in their 30s hangout tonight with the weather being bad? Staying in RiNo. Any arcade bars worth visiting?
1Up is a fun arcade bar within walking distance of RiNo. I don't know if it's reopened though. I highly recommend hitting up Ironton Brewery in West RiNo; great range of local spirits and they have heated outdoor seating.
