My limited research told me the strip clubs aren't that great and it'd be better to order in to the loft. This place is good?
Love the idea of the restaurant, but execution isn't where it should be for a top place in the city. We've got a ways to go as a city re: food. However, I love Rioja. So, so good from Jasinski
Heeeyyy guyssss. Daddy fat sacks has got himself In a shitty situation re: Rosco Fat Sacks (my dog). I've been living at my gf's apt that has decided after 8 months of living there with my pup that it was time to enact their pet policy and won't let us make him a service dog because their insurance doesn't allow pits or Bulldogs, which Rosco is both. My main dude blotter said he'd hold him down during the week but he's up in ft Collins and cnt watch him on the weekends. My friend that actually can take him reneged and I'm actually considering the pound if I can't find him a place for the weekends. If any of you guys are interested or know of someone who may be interested in a well trained, low maintenance badass dog to take care of just on weekends or full time until the end of July, I can compensate with money and infinite likes and weed and honey. Thanks tmb fam. Alex.
World Market has some good stuff that looks similar to some West Elm furniture but not nearly as expensive.
I went with american furniture warehouse. Got a decent bedroom set, love seat, table, comp desk for about 2400. My mattress was 600 so that gives you ballpark.
Peaks Lounge is supposed to be cool from what I've been told. Should get a good view of the city/Rockies at sunset for a drink or two. It's in the Grand Hyatt.
I financed with them (its actually a wells fargo credit card). No interest for 18 months. The delivery charge was like 75 bucks I think.
Well almost have everything done in terms of moving. Furniture gets delivered tomorrow, TV/Internet will be here wednesday and all the other random shit I got from Amazon on Tuesday. Have all next week to explore so hopefully make it down in to some other areas since I've mostly stuck around LoDo and 16th St Mall.
Go to Union Station and take a $5 bus to Boulder some morning god that public transportation game is strong
Some of these homeless folks are too funny, gettin all pissy and giving attitude when you say no to them
Union Station. It originated in Austin and can confirm that it is, indeed, very good. Highland Tap has a pretty damn good burger. Same can be said for Cherry Cricket, which is probably one of the more well known burger places in town. They aren't fancy like some of these other places, but they are big and just plain good.
Lots of good shit food wise between Larimer and Union Station. Then if you cross over the South Platte River into the Highland neighborhood you'll find a ton more. Uptown/North Cap Hill along 17th also has a great mix of restaurants/bars. Steuben's is the bomb and Ace Eat Serve, which is next door, is really good and has an awesome patio and ping pong. Another place that is really close to you that I tried when I moved was Wurstkuche. It's at like Stout/Broadway. They specialize in gourmet sausages of all kinds and have a ton of high quality beers. Plus they give you like 5 different mustards at your table for your sausage. Awesome place.
Saw the new downtown King Soopers opens on the 15th which will be much more convenient than my options now.
What's the neighborhood like northeast of CU-Denver? Like between 13th and 16th and Blake and Curtis.
Watching this stuff from the roof of denver health. It's crazy how many spots are having little shows
