Also, does anyone have any storage unit places for recommendations? Lease is up in December, going to throw my very few belongings in storage, see the family for an extended Christmas and then travel Europe to start 2023. Still stuck between 6mo lease or trying to buy mid next year.
In and out in 30-45 minutes Not necessarily fast food, but wouldn't want to wait too long. Got a flight to catch.
I'd just pick an area and walk a couple blocks and you'll find something. The food scene here is extremely average, so be prepared for that.
I just went to a Public Storage (near Broadway and I25) when I first moved here. It seemed easy enough but I haven't put things in storage very often so I don't have a ton of experience but it was easy, indoors, and not too expensive.
Got dropped off at the curb 29 minutes before my flight this morning, and somehow still made it all the way to my gate in terminal C just as they finished paging my final warning over the PA.
they had sympathy for the guy who looked like he was about to pass out. The Uber/Lyft situation in Boulder this morning was insane.
I know these questions have been asked dozens of times… Wife and I are spending a date night weekend in denver starting december 9th. Staying at the Courtyard off 16th street by the theatre district. Recs for good dinner/lunch/breakfast/brunch spots within walking distance?
Show up early if a weekend. Just a solid diner spot. Hell or Highwater would be a fun place for a drink. I’d just trust internet resources for best downtown dinner spots. also, plenty of options if you are willing to Uber vs walking. Lohi, rino, uptown, cap hill area have plenty of options
appreciate it. we will have my car as we live just down in springs. haven’t spent much time in the area we will be in so kinda wanted go check it out. hoping for a nice christmas setup downtown
sounds good. might be easier for you to ask about a few places that come up in researching spots to eat. I'm sure we will have plenty of opinions. but hard to recommend dinner spots when there are so many.
Yeah this. haven’t been in a few years, but Il Posto was awesome back in 2017. It’s now over in Rino.
I work about three blocks away from where you’d be staying. I’d echo what bro said. Tons of options. For dinner spots you probably want to book pretty soon as reservations fill up quickly. If you have any particular type of food in mind I’m sure this thread can throw out a ton of recs.
has anyone been to Brasserie Brixton? looking to make xmas eve reservations somewhere and it looks like my go-to place of Spuntino may not be open that day.
Alright, i’m a little late here but here are some of the restaurants around us Friday Night/Saturday Breakfast: Sam’s No.3 - was the only breakfast place i could see close on maps but could be wrong Dinner places (Will be around 8:30) Pizza Republica Bao Brewhouse Tamayo The Capital Grille Range Restaurant Guard & Grace CRU any good wing places?
Guard & Grace is best on your list my suggestions for date night for anyone in here (off the top of my head--haven't gone out to eat in a while) Bruto (insanely good experience) Uchi Sushi Den Senior Bear A5 Bar Dough Uncle El Five Tavernetta Olivia
zachary go to bruto for lunch tomorrow if you can--will be worth it. Only 16 seats in the restaurant. You get a dedicated chef that explains every ingredient of each dish that comes to you while he is helping the rest of the kitchen prep. It is southern mexican inspired cuisine
I try something different every time I go here and haven't had a single bad item yet. Their cookies are also amazing
This is crazy. This happened sometime between 6:30 and 7, buddy is watching the video of it and it hadn’t happened by 6:30.
Yeah it was odd. Daylight on a busy street. Ritual next door was also untouched even though nobody was there. Maybe they were trying to break in but couldn’t quite finish the job? Or someone really didn’t like their last IPA.
Umm. Yeah. Apparently it was a dude with a fucking axe wailing on the door. That’s some kick ass glass.
Any reason as to why? Bringing an axe is much different than some guy picking up a rock / cinder block and hurling it
I’m hoping Kyle Clark will amplify it. He’s been in the store a few times, so I tagged him in a tweet with it.
Idiot parked around the corner by the dispensary. They, uhh, have cameras. Dude drives a silver f-250 with no front plate and mismatched rims.
Great vibe. Big fan of their french onion soup and steak frites. A further bit south is the Plimoth and Point Easy. Also very good.
Yeah the barista at Thump was saying he should have went out there. Pretty glad he didn’t considering the axe. Still can’t believe he did it in daylight. Will send pics if I see the truck around the neighborhood.
