luckily not that hot in this area but still brutal. was wanting to go to renaissance festival in larkspur but being out in that heat all day sounds brutal

 

If I remember correctly that area is very well shaded but still probably super warm

 

yeah we go every year, multiple times so we know the area a good bit. if it was just my wife & i then no issues but the two little ones is what makes it more difficult

 

I'm heading to Crested Butte next weekend so hopefully I get a somewhat reprieve from the heat.

 

How’s the park and ride bus to DIA? Have to take a 36 hour trip and trying to determine best logistics/price. Ubers from Boulder seem crazy expensive.

 

Super easy. We would take the bus from the Boulder Station to the airport. Always ran on time

Crested Butte is a pretty amazing place. 77 degrees today.

 

Staying at The Peaks Resort in Telluride in Late September…any good hikes recommendations there or must visits? Never been to Telluride

Never hiked there, closest I’ve hiked around is Ouray. I’m sure there is a lot to choose from.

 

Rosenberg’s has gone downhill, so central park getting a call your mother “lil deli” is so clutch

 

Is there some big event going on the week of 7/21? Trying to book a work trip for next month and my usual hotel is over $2k total for Monday-Wednesday nights and a bunch of others are sold out.

 

I’m going to guess it’s not Alabama Shakes/Mumford and Sons on back to back nights at Red Rocks. Probably some corporate meeting or expo

 

Anyone live near Union Station? There have been huge firework explosions not every night, but really frequently lately. Like WTF?

Pearl Market in Northside has bagels. Nothing elaborate like CYM or Rosenbergs, but I enjoy them.

Their ribs there and take home bolognese sauce is fantastic.

 

Nice. I’ve been meaning to head over there and try out some of their food. Seen good feedback regarding their pizza.

 

Yeah man, its thinnish, buttery crust. So happy we have them since I live in the neighborhood. Whole Foods coming soon south of I-70 near the Credit Union, excited, just hope they don't eat Pearl's marketshare.

this’ll be my 14th wu show so not expecting much different other than odb’s son doing his shit

but this was my first rtj show and my kids love their shit so we had a blast

my 6 year old was losing it

 

Brain slightly scrambled but Phish was a great time. Doing it all over again tonight

 

The merch tents put out signed RTJ posters late, probably twenty minutes before they started. Luckily a guy in my section gave me a heads up.

 

i’m glad i wasn’t expecting much from wu because that was probably the 2nd best show i’ve ever seen them put on

crazy how much more coordinated they are and how good of a production it is

poor gza though i don’t know if he was drunk or what but that was rough to watch

Walter's 303 and Fire on the Mountain aren't bad in a pinch.

I've heard CD's is good, but haven't been.

 

Vine Street BITD was awesome for wings. Don’t know if they fucked that up when reopening after Covid.

CD's are the best I've had they're just not very convenient unless you live up north. Piper Inn are also very good and the carne asada fries are a GOAT tier appetizer

 

King of Wings is my fave

 

I really like Stoney's as well but they're generally pretty small.
