I flew out to DC this morning so my wife is stuck with the shoveling. Real shame I’m missing that. But I am bummed I’m missing the snow.
going to the nuggets game tonight and wanted to swing by and bar beforehand.. anyone been to degree metropolitan or tivoli tap house near the stadium? worth a damn?
I thought Tivoli tap house closed. We usually just go to Rhein Haus or Celtic on Market before games. Society Sports has pretty good food if I remember correctly, it's been a few years
appreciate the spots. no idea if tivoli is closed but i saw it on maps. usually just go to the stadium and nothing else when i go to the games but plan on getting there once the parking lot opens to hopefully avoid traffic. might walk over to the christkindlmarket
I go to probably 10 nuggets games a year and about half the time we'll just do Breckenridge at the stadium. Drinks aren't cheap and the food isn't very good but it's convenient
i usually bring my two sons with me and it is just much easier maintaining a 2 and 6 year old in the club section than main areas. i love it there. sitting in the lower bowl for the first time tonight..but no kids
That’s funny. Every time I get club seats I’m underwhelmed. Too small and not many eating options better than on the regular concourse imo.
The food options could definitely be better. I enjoy easy access to the bar and not waiting on the bathroom and the seats are more comfortable
i try to get really nice seats for one or two nuggs games a year. will likely wait until 2026 when they are healthier and full strength.
i badly wanna get courtside seats one game but man idk if i am able to bite the bullet on those prices
we were one gifted tickets 5 rows up and got access to the awesome pre-game lounge due to the tickets. it ruled.
Not to be one of those guys but just can’t stand the constant drive and kick out for a 3 and no defense of current NBA. Give me alllll the Avs games though
No but on the list. Also snagged some recs from this article This past Thursday we released our Top 50 Bars list, a celebration of the bars we think are doing it right in the Mile High. Which bars are your favorite? Are there any you think got snubbed? See the full list 👇 www.westword.com/food-drink...— Denver Westword (@westword.com) 2025-12-13T23:03:01.951Z
Rougarou was incredible. Sweet and sour catfish, chicken on a stick, collards, and a bananas foster julep. All on point, easily one of the best meals I’ve had this year. Also stopped at Welton Room on the way. Their $9 “martini hour” whiskey cocktails were fantastic.
For those of you who frequent Mile High, where do you think the best value seats are? The 500s seem so far away from the field, but the 300s are pricey. 200s any good hold out and hope a 100s one pops up?
I know this is the Denver thread, but anyone in here familiar with Fort Collins? May have a job offer that would start in May/June. Married with a 2.5 year old. Just want some insight on living there if anyone is familiar.
Better than Colorado Springs. I've not spent a ton of time up there but it seems like a good place to live
Know 3 families that have moved from Denver to FoCo and absolutely love it. Seems to be a great place for family life. fuck springs.
I won a season long pick em contest between my friend group and as winner I get to pick where we have a season's end celebration dinner. I want to try something new, we usually do somewhere nice but not like Elway's/Shanahan's nice (usually try to keep it at about 600-700 pre-tip for the five of us). I'd like to do Italian or Seafood, bro or any others hit me with some good recommendations
Can anyone give a recommendation for a mountain town within a couple hours of Denver? We are planning a trip out in July with an infant. We won’t be doing any long hikes but some short/easy nature walks, lunch spots, or misc entertainment for the summer months. Really the only hard requirement is a place with a private hot tub so we can sit in that close to the sleeping kid. We were initially looking at Beaver Creek but a vast majority of the AirBnBs we found are condos which don’t fit our hot tub requirement.
