I don't think anyone would argue that Jeter was better offensively than Arod. That said, Arod spent more of his career at 3b/DH than SS so I don't view him as a SS. He last played SS regularly at 27. And yes, playing for the Yankees during that run helps but his numbers speak for themselves too. With his numbers, he's a HOF'er if he was a Marlin for his entire career.
