looks like 2 other sublcass slots (whether they're filled yet by end of game or for later expansion who knows), ghosts are there still, light is there, glimmer not shown above 25k..., some new legendary mark thing, level 20 260 by end of game it looks like, artifact slot locked perhaps?, armor, agility, and recovery vs. str, int, dis?
part of me was hoping for a massive online pvp mode a la battlefield/battlefront since you'll have a lot of power and people behind the game now.
new strike looks pretty good, especially the multistage boss stuff. September too far away. Gonna put about 100 hours into each class during the fucking beta.
pc isn't releasing sept 8. 30 fps for ps4 pro, uncapped on pc. xbox scorpio remains to be seen on fps.
with the big marketing deal Bungie has with Sony I doubt the Scorpio version will be superior on fps. Maybe there will be cross-save stuff with the PC version that will make it more useful but I'm kinda doubtful on that. The PC version may be an interesting distraction, but the PS4 version will be the one I sink most of my time into, especially with the PC version releasing some time after the console versions.
The most interesting development may be that I finally accept dabut's invites if there are missions to distract me from his weird dog sex sounds.
thought about the sony thing too, but you never know. they basically said to IGN last night (luke smith and mark noseworthy) that they couldn't get the game to run 60fps on the pro and that's the only reason it's not 60. ps4 pro isn't powerful enough for it.
The 30 frames info sucks. I don't care about the fps in the pve world as long as they're stable but would have liked to see them adjust whatever they needed to in the crucible to reach 60.

Bungie says it's 30 fps due to the CPU, which isn't surprising since it's old and underpowered. Scorpio uses the same one, so no 60 there, either. Both should have upgraded the CPU but it would have been more expensive. Will have to wait for Destiny 3 on the next iteration or generation of the consoles.
i will when they release a ps4 model capable of running it at 60+ fps. it's 2017, 30 fps is no longer acceptable.
Nah, Scorpio runs an updated x86 custom chipset that resembles the jaguar. It'll meet the 60 fps mark pretty easily from a technical standpoint. It ran fortza at 4K 60fps when they revealed it. Of course that's for an exclusive in a closed environment, but it's still impressive. I'm pretty excited for destiny 2. Really hope it starts out better than vanilla destiny.
idk man, there's a lot more going on in a space magic fps than a racing game. i mean, it definitely should hit 60 fps, but that doesn't mean you'll get it, and if you do it probably means a new system from sony pretty soon.
as do i, but 30 fps gives me migraines so i'd rather not do much of it. most of my irl friends are on pc so idk. i'm hoping for cross save so i can do the grind at 140+ and raid with friends at 30 (or 140+ if enough pc people are around but i'm not confident in that)
I believe the clock difference between the two is the PS4 Pro is 2.1 GHZ and the Scorpio is 2.3. Not really different. First party games always run better on console hardware.
i believe i read that the reason behind it is related to the new physics engine and various particles within the game
This is true. I'm just thinking since a lot of parts are fully customized for the system and with access to low APIs that it should be able to hit that threshold. I'd much prefer an upscaled 1080p at 60 fps than upscaled 4K30.
it does and no. it's a vasodilator and i already have blood pressure problems. legit makes me sick sometimes, especially when combined with other vasodilators like nicotine. the state of my lungs will probably force me to stop one day though i mean if they were BlazingRebel level headaches i guess i would stop but i doubt that will happen
going the PC route instead of any further Xbox shenanigans, so I just bought a new GPU. Happens to come with a free copy of Destiny 2 so I'm definitely going to be playing some on the PC. PS4 will still be primary, I'm sure...but it sure looks incredible running at 4k60 in this video:
